Performance-wise from what I can tell, the RT-BE58U is stripped down RT-BE92 - it lacks the 6 GHz channel and has half the bandwidth (160 MHz vs 320 MHZ), but it's WiFi7 in every other respect. Appropriately it's half the price, and current compatibility is most important. Having many "legacy' devices that still get the job done and nothing needing 6 GHz, this hits the sweet spot for me.

Once setup, the router is excellent, however, I had to have a computer tech friend set it up, and it had its setup and communication difficulties before final operation...I never would have been able to connect the router myself.

Fast. Very Fast. I have a 1.2 gig internet connection. I am getting 1.2 gig thru one wall with drywall on both sides. I am only about 15 feet away from the router.

5g Signal range and speed is good for it's price range. I put the router in middle level of three level house, the wifi signal of my iphone is full in most of the places. I don't get full signal in one bathroom, but the speed is still ok. I did get full signal for my old named brand router, but that one was three times the price of this one.

Set up was easy and quick. New update was automatically installed. Coverage is far better than the previous wifi router from another company.

Speed and available support through the app is better than any other Mesh Router i have owned.
