Good Little Printer

Canon PIXMA iP7220 Photo Inkjet Printer
Canon PIXMA iP7220 Photo Inkjet Printer

Pros: Good value. Nice output. Wireless.

Cons: Replacement for IP4500. This printer is a little flimsy, not built very solidly. OK for occasional home use though. Not for kids. Somewhat noisy but not a problem here. Takes a while to print first page. Overall fine for a home printer.

Overall Review: Several reviews stated that the wireless only supports WEP authentication. Not true of mine. Also supports WPA/WPA2. Perhaps a firmware update from Canon's web site will fix older ones.

Not So Good

EnGenius ERB9250 Wireless N Range Extender
EnGenius ERB9250 Wireless N Range Extender

Pros: I can't think of any.

Cons: Well, it configured fine, linked to my router and everything worked great...for about an hour. Then none of the wireless clients could connect to anything, router or repeater. Had to unplug the repeater and then clients could connect to the router fine. Wait about an hour, clients lose all connectivity. Power cycle the repeater. Wait an hour, do it again.

Overall Review: I'm using an Asus wireless router (love it). Perhaps this repeater will work with an EnGenius router.

Good Little board

GIGABYTE GA-H61M-USB3H LGA 1155 Intel H61 HDMI USB 3.0 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard with UEFI BIOS
GIGABYTE GA-H61M-USB3H LGA 1155 Intel H61 HDMI USB 3.0 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard with UEFI BIOS

Pros: Nothing fancy but works fine for a general purpose PC (my father to check email and net).

Cons: Not really a con if you know what you're buying but no SATA 3, only two expansion slots, not many fan connectors.

Overall Review: Good basic board. You're not going to build a killer gaming rig with this but it does what it was designed to do.

Great Range Extender

ASUS RT-N10P Wireless N150 Router IEEE 802.11b, IEEE 802.11g, IEEE 802.11n, IEEE 802.11d, IEEE 802.3, IEEE 802.3u, IEEE 802.11i, IEEE 802.11e, IPv4
ASUS RT-N10P Wireless N150 Router IEEE 802.11b, IEEE 802.11g, IEEE 802.11n, IEEE 802.11d, IEEE 802.3, IEEE 802.3u, IEEE 802.11i, IEEE 802.11e, IPv4

Pros: Got this to use as a range extender. With the rebate I figured I could not miss (and yes, I always get he Asus rebate). Extremely easy setup. Very good range. Works well and the price can't be beat.

Cons: None, really. Doesn't have the cool-looking multiple antennas?

Too Bad Drive Won't Fit

SILVERSTONE Black Aluminum / Steel Lascala Series SST-LC10B-E-USB3.0 ATX Media Center / HTPC Case
SILVERSTONE Black Aluminum / Steel Lascala Series SST-LC10B-E-USB3.0 ATX Media Center / HTPC Case

Pros: Beautiful, well built, can use a long video card

Cons: The front panel has a cutout for the eject button on the optical drive. I tried 4 different drives and in every case the cutout is about 3/8 of an inch below the eject button. Opening for the disk tray lines up perfectly but there would be no way eject a disk.

Overall Review: Requesting RMA. Disappointed, really liked the case.

Works but very short cable.

Rosewill RHB-220 - 4-Port USB 2.0 Hub
Rosewill RHB-220 - 4-Port USB 2.0 Hub

Pros: Low Price. I's a USB hub what can I say. It works.

Cons: Very short cable. Unless the computer's USB ports are very near where you want to place this you will need an extension cable.
