Pros: Good value. Nice output. Wireless.
Cons: Replacement for IP4500. This printer is a little flimsy, not built very solidly. OK for occasional home use though. Not for kids. Somewhat noisy but not a problem here. Takes a while to print first page. Overall fine for a home printer.
Overall Review: Several reviews stated that the wireless only supports
WEP authentication. Not true of mine. Also supports WPA/WPA2. Perhaps a firmware update from Canon's web site will fix older ones.
Pros: Nothing fancy but works fine for a general purpose PC (my father to check email and net).
Cons: Not really a con if you know what you're buying but no SATA 3, only two expansion slots, not many fan connectors.
Overall Review: Good basic board. You're not going to build a killer gaming rig with this but it does what it was designed to do.
Pros: I can't think of any.
Cons: Well, it configured fine, linked to my router and everything worked great...for about an hour. Then none of the wireless clients could connect to anything, router or repeater. Had to unplug the repeater and then clients could connect to the router fine. Wait about an hour, clients lose all connectivity. Power cycle the repeater. Wait an hour, do it again.
Overall Review: I'm using an Asus wireless router (love it). Perhaps this repeater will work with an EnGenius router.
Pros: Got this to use as a range extender. With the rebate I figured I could not miss (and yes, I always get he Asus rebate). Extremely easy setup. Very good range. Works well and the price can't be beat.
Cons: None, really. Doesn't have the cool-looking multiple antennas?
Pros: Beautiful, well built, can use a long video card
Cons: The front panel has a cutout for the eject button on the optical drive. I tried 4 different drives and in every case the cutout is about 3/8 of an inch below the eject button. Opening for the disk tray lines up perfectly but there would be no way eject a disk.
Overall Review: Requesting RMA. Disappointed, really liked the case.
Pros: Low Price. I's a USB hub what can I say. It works.
Cons: Very short cable. Unless the computer's USB ports are very near where you want to place this you will need an extension cable.
Pros: Works absolutly wonderfully once you get it working. Any shortcommings are limitations in Windows Media Center.
Cons: Dealing with your cable company will test your patience. It took me two months to get a cable card from Charter and that was after multiple complaints to the FCC. Not the fault of Ceton.
Overall Review: First card was defective. Ceton support is excellent. Email only but I always got a response the next day and many times the same day I posted to the trouble ticket. Replaced the tuner and all was well. Helped me get the cable card from Charter which did not want to give it up.
Pros: Great tablet. Does just what we wanted and the price is very competetive. No problems at all. Size is just right.
Cons: None really. An SD card slot would be nice but 32GB of storage is enough for us.
Overall Review: I see a lot of reviews about hardware failures but ours worked just fine right out of the box. No problems at all. It updated some software when first connected to the internet and the synched all the apps on the wife's Android phone to the tablet.
Pros: Sounds like it will do just what I wanted.
Cons: Way too expensive. I had one on pre-order but started thinking. For about the same price I can get an Xbox 360 that will also work as a media extender and provide much more functionality. If the price was half of what they are asking I would certainly but one.
Pros: Works great with newer PC's and an old KVM switch if running Linux.
Cons: Cannot get Windows 7 to recognize either the mouse or keyboard. Kinda expensive not to work with Windows.
Overall Review: My trusty KVM swithc has PS2 connectors for mouse and keyboard. New motherboards have no PS2 connectors or at best one connector. Needed this for a newer mobo.
Pros: Works fine, no issues at all. Had another card that could only record one HD and one analog channell at a time. This will record twodigital channells if available.
Cons: None, really. Remote seems to not have much range.
Overall Review: I'm using this with SageTV. I have not used the included Win TV app.
Pros: Runs flawlessly. Upgraded from an LGA1156/P35 board. Swapped motherboard and upgraded memory and it booted on the first try. Updated drivers and no problems ever.
Cons: Somewhat difficult to install due to the armour but I don't swap MB's every week. The termal radar shows both the USB3 chips running hotter than anything else in the case-50C. I don't know why and I don't use USB3 right now so I guess I can disable them.
Pros: Good overall case, GREAT for the $$$. Plenty of room for more fans, the included fan actually will connect to the mobo rather than a molex connector of the PS.
Cons: Not real fond of the retaining system for add-in cards. It feels like it will snap off very easily.
Overall Review: Overall, I am very satisfied with this case. Not the sturdiest case I have ever used but probably the best VALUE.
Pros: Playing Aion we took Divine Fortress.. first time on server :) Trineil.. Im saying 10 alliences.. I was totally surprised how much my lag was down..no rubber banding , no pplz dead before u target them..
Cons: price.. lil high
Overall Review: workd GREAT for me an easy to install
Pros: Great drive. 64MB cache even though advertised as 32MB. worj=ks fien with Win7
Cons: Not free.
Overall Review: This drive is a bit odd. It is not listed on WD's web site but the spec's look like the 2TB drive. I wonder if these are 2TB drives that have a bad platter, head or something. Doesn't matter, 5 year warrenty and the price is right.
Pros: It is a cable. It works.
Pros: Very good value for the price (it was on sale when I bought it).
Seems well made for the price range.
Cons: As most everyone has said the track pad is just plain not right. hoever, I never liked trackpads and always use the little ret stick on my work laptop. I did not try adjusting the trackpad at all so....
Overall Review: Got this as a desktop replacement for my daughter and she is happy with it. She doesn't like the pad either but just plugs in a small mouse and all is fine.
Pros: It is what it is. Much faster than my 500GB Samsung I replaced. Downloaded the Acronis software from the WD website and it cloned my existing drive with no problems. Vista give it a 5.9 rating vs 5.7 for the old drive.
Cons: A bit noisy. Not the spindle motor but the head actuator. Not excessive or a real problem but it is a bit loader than other drives I have had. It is also quicker.
Overall Review: I read about some packaging failures in the reviews but I think these are in the past. My drive was wrapped in bubble wrap all around, placed in a small box and then the small box was shipped in a regular shipping box filled with packing paper. Excellent packaging.
Pros: Works very well when it works. Decent range, decent sound quality. Used mostly for gaming and works very well.
Cons: Died after 8 months. The battery stopped charging and that was that.
Overall Review: This is typical of Logitech I'm afraid. They design great products like the Harmony remotes, G15 keyboard, G7 mouse. They are all excellent when new. I have had all of the above and all have failed in less than a year. The build quality is very poor in general for this manufacturer.
Pros: Quiet. Plenty of connectors. Good Value
Overall Review: There is some misinformation in some of the reviews. This power supply DOES support bot 4 and 8 pin 12V power connections to the mobo.
The SATA and molex connnectors are acually on two cables each with three connectors, not all six connectors on one cable
Pros: Specs look great.
Cons: Very buggy firmware. Upgraded to the latest version ,1.15, and configured it. Worked great. Went back into setup to make a change. Bad idea. Unit would not accept any changes to the configuration. As soon as "save" was selected the unit rebooted without saving the change. Reset the unit. configured again. Same result. It takes the origional configuration but you can't change it without resetting the router.
Overall Review: My first D-Link item. Got it because it sounded much more capable than LS and it would be if it worked. I don't think I want a router this unstable. Look elswhere.
Pros: I have had this TV for 9 months now and I still love it. No problems at all, no regrets. If I needed to replace it, I would buy the same model again.
Overall Review: Works great as a computer monitor, the wife plays WoW on it quite a lot. Good picture with analog TV signal. Just get this one, you won''t be disappointed.
Pros: Good price/performance value. Newegg service.
Cons: DOA. SMART monitoring said it was about to die and it refused to format in three different systems. Returned to the egg.
Overall Review: Have several other WD drives with no problems. Als Seagate, Hitachi and Maxtor. Never had a drive fail right out of the box. Hope this was jsut a fluke.
Pros: Good Value. Makes excellent second computer for kids, spouse.
Cons: Poor construction. One of the SATA headers has already pulled out of the mobo. Pretty much impossible to put back on and it was not abused, it just wasn't glued or attached in any way. Be very gentle.
Overall Review: Great for web surfing, homework and light gameing.
Pros: It works. It's a switch and it switches. What els do you want? Very good value.
Cons: Odd color but who puts a switch and associated wiring where it is displayed prominently?
