Pros: Good features Slim design Lots of storage options
Cons: Lower build quality Built in update service
Overall Review: I bought this laptop looking for a higher performance schooling/gaming computer that was also on the slim design. On those thoughts I really wanted to love this laptop, the massive storage with an optical drive and the option to expand the storage with another ssd was amazing. But from the moment I started the laptop it was kinda buggy. Every time I started windows it would act up and give me an error, so long as I canceled the error it allowed me to access my desktop. After updating all of the drivers it went away and I didn't think twice. Fast forward 2 days later and it starts up asking for another update from gigabyte's update manager. I accepted it and it started to download and start the update. Shortly after it warned me that it may shut down and restart soon, it restarted. It started up to a screen saying that a recent hardware or software update messed up windows and that I needed to insert my windows installation disk to fix the problem. Even though I consider myself very computer savvy I decided to save myself the headache and another 100 dollars and go with a different laptop from a more reliable company. Again, I wanted to love this laptop, but the built in software and so-so build quality for a 1900 dollar computer turned me away.
