Pros: The cabinet is very solid, looks good, and allows easy access to the front and sides of the rack-mount devices. Both side panels have quick-release latches and lift completely away from the cabinet. Noise levels in my office (3 rack-mount servers, 24 port switch, 3 routers) are GREATLY reduced.

Cons: As others have pointed out, the instructions for this unit suck. Be prepared to spend some time scratching your head trying to figure out what is actually required for each step, and what specific bit of hardware (nut, bolt, screw, etc) is needed.

Overall Review: Very happy overall with the cabinet. It is worth the expense and helps keep my servers / cables / office much more organized. It is a stress reducer.

Pros: Inexpensive compared to brand-specific (Dell, HP, etc) rails. Simple installation, solid construction.

Cons: Rail mounts block center hole (1U mount has 3 holes, upper and lower for screws / pins, center for device to "lock" into rack). Because the center hole is blocked, there is no way to "lock" the device into the rack. So device (in my case an HP Server) ends up just sitting on the rails. Not really a big deal, except that server can move and slide easily. It should be an easy fix, just mark and drill out a center hole in the rail. Only 4 eggs because that isn't something we should have to do.

Overall Review: I will be purchasing another in order to mount some additional equipment.

Pros: Great keyboard, great screen, solid and strong case. Very good value for money.

Cons: Somewhat heavy for it's size.

Overall Review: This is the second E6420 I have ordered from Newegg. The first I ordered for my wife, and this I ordered for my mom. They are very nice computers. This one was damaged (corner of case), and Newegg issued RMA immediately upon me reporting the damage. Very happy and will purchase again.

Pros: Simple installation, includes extra foam padding for slim drives, feels solid and tough, USB connector is tight. I have three of these and they all work great, built quality is nice.

Cons: Included USB cable is only about a foot long -would be nice if was 18 inches.

Pros: Very fast, awesome wide screen display, DUAL HDD bays, excellent keyboard. Plenty of I/O ports and sturdy solid design. This is a more MOBILE WORKSTATION than LAPTOP.

Cons: Heavy. Granted, this being a mobile workstation it really isn't designed to be used on a train or a plane. If you have an older SSD with the SandForce SF-1222 controller you won't be able to use it in HDD bays as the Intel Haswell chipset is incompatible -but hey, you needed an excuse to buy a new SSD anyway, right? Overall Review: This is my 3rd Precision (previously had M6400 and M6500). Dell has delivered nicely on this latest generation of the Precision Mobile Workstation. This is an excellent piece of equipment for the PROFESSIONAL. This came with dual 500GB HDDs instead of the single 1TB HDD (leaving no room for my SSD). I called the seller (Notebook Avenue) directly, and they shipped me a replacement 1TB HDD within 2 hours, along with a prepaid return label for the other drives. I am very happy with this purchase.

Pros: Light, protects the screen well, seam stitching strong and looks good.

Cons: Beware. "PV Leather" means "Poly Vinyl Leather Product", or more appropriately, NOT LEATHER. Cover is constructed of textured vinyl, which looks and feels "close" to leather.

Overall Review: All in all a very nice case. I'm keeping it, and will likely purchase another for my wife's iPad. For less than $10 this is a very good buy.
