HD video/audio playback stutters

Pros: Internal USB header for PC case connection; internal Firewire header would of been nice.
Cons: ALI chipset is utter garbage: it can not sustain constant (USB) data flow, HD video/audio playback randomly stutters wildly. I had THREE ALI cards and they all stuttered. I replaced the cards with cards using VIA chipset and the HD video played smoothly without a single stutter.
Overall Review: Get a card with VIA or NEC chipset.
Holes spaced for 5.25", NOT 3.5"!!

Pros: Sturdy construction.
Cons: The mounting holes on the 3.5" side of the bracket are spaced for 5.25" drive/bay, NOT 3.5". Unless your case/enclosure has slotted mount openings, ONLY one hole will line up. The person who overlooked this serious design flaw should be fired at BYTECC.

Overall Review: People giving these ALI based cards high ratings are probably only using it to transfer data files and are unaware of the underlying erratic throughput problems. Get a card with VIA or NEC chipset.

Overall Review: If you received the newer cards with the VIA chipset, consider yourself *very* lucky. Syba is aware of the ALI chipset problems.
1.8v - 1.9v DDR2 *ONLY*

Pros: Stable, inexpensive.
Cons: DDR2-800 memory will only run at 373MHz, not 400MHz. If you have this board, run CPU-Z and see for yourself.
Overall Review: Pair this with an X2 3800+ or X2 4200+ for a nice 1080p HTPC; there's no SPDIF output but there is a SPDIF header.
