Nice card for the $$$
Pros: Bought this card to improve my PC in anticipation for Skyrim and BF3. Installed easily enough and runs Deus Ex (a great game, make sure you get the package with it included free) on high settings. Comes with power cables which was nice since it needs two PCI express 6 pins. Overall, I'm happy with it so far.
Cons: Very large card (though most are these days.) Make sure you have room for it. Runs a little louder than my old card but it's not distracting or anything.
Overall Review: The rebate comes on a gift American Express card. If it comes remains to be seen...
What a case!
Pros: -Feels sturdy and well made. -Great fans and good airflow out of the box. -Quiet -Dust screens -USB 3.0 -Manual case fan control -Easy cable management Used for my first build and am thrilled with the results. It doesn't look like much from the outside but the inside is spacious and allows for easy cable management. Loved that I can remove the middle drive cage so the airflow is from the intake fan is uninterrupted.
Cons: Nothing worth losing an egg over but the manual is really basic. As a first timer I wish it told me how to properly install HDDs and standoffs in the cage. Even though it was easy to figure out both, one diagram would have saved me 10 minutes and some embarrassment. Also not a fan of the USB slots being on top since there isn't a lot of overhead clearance in my desk.
So far so good
Pros: Got this for $200 and put it in a new build with a 4670k. So far I have played AC4 and Splinter Cell and have had no issues maxing the games out at 1080p with medium AA. Can't barely hear the card in my case.
Cons: Sometimes I wish I bought a 770 to be more future proof but for $200 and the ASUS name it was too good to pass on.
Nice RAM
Pros: I put it in my motherboard. The motherboard recognized it instantly. It runs. What else do you want from RAM?
Cons: No cons.
Great board for my first build
Pros: This was my first ever build and I'm glad I went with the Z87-A. It was simple to connect everything and the BIOS was well designed and feature rich. Though I have not OC'd my processor yet, the interface to do so looked organized. Having SLI support is also another nice feature I plan to make use of in the future. ASUS EZ updater made driver updates a breeze. Hard to beat OC capabilities and SLI for $95 (black friday.)
Cons: None yet.
Nice...
Pros: Got the coupon with my video card. Put it in the website and got the Steam code instantly. Was playing a great free game within an hour.
Cons: None
