Amazing little power supply

Rosewill RV350 350W ATX 1.3 Power Supply
Rosewill RV350 350W ATX 1.3 Power Supply

Pros: First I will state my system specs to really get a feel for the pure power this thing delivers. Motherboard - ASRock FM2A75 Pro4-M CPU - AMD A4-4000 Ram - G.SKILL Ripjaw 4gb 2 sticks 1600mhz GPU - AMD HD 7750 HDD - WD Blue 500GB Optical Drive - LG Black 12x Blu-ray I love this power supply because it was able to stably run all this hardware while playing BF3 at 720p Ultra settings. Also note that all the parts that I stated above max out at 275 watts which is pushing this PSU to about the 75%-85% marker. Also safe to mention this PSU runs extremely cool and quiet you really cannot hear the thing while playing BF3.

Cons: About the only con would be that its only 68% efficient but I guess you get what you pay for am I right?

Overall Review: This PSU does have a 6pin pci power connector but I would not recommend any GPU that had to use a 6 pin due to power consumption. I am truthfully running this PSU to its theoretical limits. You should never run a psu over 90% of its total power rating.

Not up to par

NZXT FN-140RB 140mm Case cooler
NZXT FN-140RB 140mm Case cooler

Pros: It works as a fan not a good one but it works.

Cons: The airflow says 60 cfm when I have 2 cougar fans on my case with a little higher specs that move ten times more and I mean just one fan moves way more air than this fan.

Overall Review: Change specs!

Awesome Board for HTPC Build!

ASUS AM1I-A AM1 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 HDMI Mini ITX AMD Motherboard
ASUS AM1I-A AM1 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 HDMI Mini ITX AMD Motherboard

Pros: This board is small! I have it in a case that is literally a few centimeters wider and longer than the board. Has HDMI out! Has a PC-I 1x slot for a small added gpu, ssd, or WiFi card. Works out of box with linux mint! Runs very cool in a case with good heat dissipation. Does not need ATX power supply you can use a pico PSU to power it with a 60 watt power brick or less if you couple this with a sempron AM-1 CPU. USB 3.0 on back!

Cons: No s/pdif out. No usb 3.0 on front.

Overall Review: I have had this for over 2 months now running as my primary HTPC in my room. At first I was running with Windows 7 and when I put the PC to sleep it would wake when I typed on my wireless keyboard. After about a month it stopped and I haven't been able to get it to work with it since. I am currently looking into the issue to see if its a hardware failure or software issue. I will get back and re-wright this review when that is settled.

Amazing small form factor gaming/media PC case

COUGAR Spike Black Steel / Plastic Micro ATX Mini Tower Gaming Case with USB 3.0 and 12CM Cougar Fan
COUGAR Spike Black Steel / Plastic Micro ATX Mini Tower Gaming Case with USB 3.0 and 12CM Cougar Fan

Pros: This case is extremely easy to work with for a small form factor PC case. I had all my parts installed and working in less than an hour. The true beauty of this case is just that everything is so easily excessable two thumb screws and the side panel is off and not to mention the side panel is easy to remove and put back.

Cons: The only true con to this case is that if you like cable management you will be hard pressed to do so in this case. There is no back wall space to store your cabling so all cables are view able inside the case.

Over a year and still going

Seagate BarraCuda STBD2000101 2TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Retail Packaging
Seagate BarraCuda STBD2000101 2TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Retail Packaging

Pros: fast for a HDD about 200mbps to 250mbps read and about 200mbps wright. Huge capacity for uncompressed video and fast to convert video and edit it from drive to drive.

Cons: really none I have put this thing through all sorts of stress and still running strong.

Works Well

5.25" Touch Screen Fan Controller
5.25" Touch Screen Fan Controller

Pros: The controler works well and has lasted a year in my system. With 10 watts per channel you are good for at least 2 fans and 3 to 4 low powered fans on each channel. The touch screen works well and the screen has great viewing angles as long as you are above the unit. The fact that you can actually turn your fans off is great so you can check and see if they are working properly. The automatic setting is great if you want a quiet system while surfing the web and a cool system while gaming or graphic designing. The temp censors work great about a degree difference in some channels to the others but that is acceptable. Also the temp censors are about 1-2 degrees Celsius off of the Hardware Monitor program for windows. Over all this controller is amazing and keeps things simple as far as cooling your pc goes!

Cons: Not to many cons for this item. First one I have to say is I live in the usa and do not use the metric system for temps so this con was a big learning curve for me. My unit does not let me change it to Fahrenheit for the temp that being said I did learn how to convert and use Celsius in my head now so it turned out to be not so bad lol. Con number 2 is they need to define the touch screen areas more so when I touch a spot it does not have to be pin point accurate. My unit will only let me change from manual to auto when i put my finger slightly to the right of the line and swipe down quickly. Other than those 2 cons i do not know of any others well maybe the fact that there is no indicator wich is up and down so when you build your system you put it in the right way! That was a mistake on my part haha.

Overall Review: I would like more watts per channel since I just bought a Rosewill Blackhawk Ultra case and will be adding just on the side pannel alone 9 120mm red led fans. In total I am going to have at least 20 fans running and no way is 10 watts on 5 channels going to cut that!
