Great printer
Pros: Very easy to setup. Plugged it into my router, installed the drivers, and it was ready to go. Very easy to use a DHCP setting or use a static IP address. You can control most of the printer settings via the web interface, just browse to the printers IP address, and everything is there. Duplex printing has been working flawlessly, but I don't print more than the average person, so mileage may vary. Connected my Ubuntu 10.4 system to it without any problem, or searching for drivers.
Cons: Not really a con, but I wish I would have got this in wireless for the same price. Of course it not being wireless, but wired, was why I was able to get a networked, duplex printer for such a great price.
Overall Review: The toner cartridge is a starter cartridge, which allows about 2K pages instead of 10K pages to be printed. I did know this in advance, and to tell you the truth it will take about a year for me to use up this cartridge, but people should know this.
Tyon, great while it lasted
Pros: When it worked it was great. Software allowed you to map all of the mouse buttons to any key you wanted and was very easy to make various profiles. The X-Accelerator was such a great idea. I hardly had to use the keyboard in most of the games I played.
Cons: The X-Accelerator only lasted about 4 - 6 months. Then it took on a mind of it's own. I called ROCCAT and they tried to help, but the fix they give never lasted longer than a day.
Overall Review: ROCCAT has excellent customer service which is why I've had their Kone XD and Tyon mice, but to break after 4-6 months is a serious QA issue. I did not mash the paddle, you don't need to. I look forward to their next mouse, but for me the Tyon did not work out that well.
Always out of stock
Pros: From the specs and reviews I can't wait to get this card.
Cons: Always out of stock.
Overall Review: Didn't ASUS use to have other GTX 980 cards? I remember seeing them and the are no longer listed here nor the ASUS website. Kind of curious what happened to them.
Bad drive
Pros: Was fast when it worked.
Cons: Drive went bad in two months.
Pros: Works great. I have it at 1333, but can easily go to 1600, by using XMP in my bios. It runs great at 1600, but leaving at 1333 for now.
Cons: None
Good water cooling, hard to install
Pros: Keeps my I7 3770 below 50F while playing games. Quit. I used two of my own fans, and it's not loud.
Cons: Installation. First, the back plate they sent me was bad. I've installed these types of closed systems before, so I know how to line it up and use the correct holes. I got another back plate, which is the same exact one all water cooling comes with for intel 1155 chips. Fit like a glove. They are all hard to install, but this one seemed a little rougher than most.
