Budget soundcard that works, good if your mobo doesn't have a headphone amp
Pros: -headphone amp works awesome -got it for headphone amp to use pro high ohm headphones.
Cons: -horrible drivers -problems setting up now and again until I used the universal drivers _when it works it works fine and when it doesn't it doesn't.
Overall Review: -get the universal drivers, they worked for win 10 etc better for me. google maxedtech unified drivers or UNI Xonar drivers EDIT: it just crapped out the drivers again and isnt recognized, I just bought a sound blaster z for $55 from creative on black friday instead. I did an "in place update" for win 10 after converting my drive from mbr to gpt.... the soundcard crapped out agian and im tired of messing with it.
Less than a year old, have to RMA. It was suppose to be a "higer end" card in AMD/ASUS lineup..
Pros: -looks nice -solid build -quiet (when not overheating and crashing)
Cons: -I have to RMA it. First ever RMA with ASUS :( -Overheats and crashes -A flash, then "black screens" the system, nothing works so you have to unplug the computer and let it sit.
Overall Review: I like ASUS products and AMD, i pretty much uses ASUS exclusive. I even had a g75 laptop til it got stolen out of my work office :( It overheats at crashes. I'm a semi casual gamer, sometimes I don't play for a month. Card about a year old but has seriously maybe couple hundred hours total on it. I play mostly older games. Started overheating and crashing about 4 months ago. It was overheating and crashing with Neverwinter Nights 2! I just tried Pillars of Eternity and it gets super hot and crashes in character screen! Tried it again with fans cranked at 50% and it lasted but still crashed in character screen. I was tabbing out and it was already at 70c under like no load, I mean..its Nov and cold in my house. Thats when i submitted an RMA. Newest drivers, win10. I use this computer for work in mixing music so its going to be really horrible not to be able to work when I'm waiting on this RMA! I've never had an issue with ASUS before, I really hope they can help me. I emailed that ASUS rep who posted in here about doing an advance RMA, I don't care if they replace it with a cheaper 8g 480, I just want a card that works! Hopefully they do the right thing and respond to my email. I have an RMA number already too. I'm just super bummed out, I hope this experience works out and doesn't ruin ASUS for me. I've never had a problem like this. Hopefully I can update this review with good news. EDIT: Got my RMA back..... it crashed withing 5 minutes of starting civ 6, then crashed again on the startup screen of civ 6. I got the game free when I bought my son a rx480. I just did 60hours of Civ 6 with my old as hell 7850 I got back from my friend. I was actually able to get some gaming in over a couple weeks because i had a card that didn't immediately crash....... So... only one component is different. This card is defective and the RMA process just wasted my time and money, they literally did nothing but dust it off and mail it back to me.
Yep, its a burner.
Pros: -works the like 2 times a year I use it -no problems in fit, lines up good to the case -no flashing lights or anything stupid
Cons: -none
Overall Review: works great and cheap.
Awesome monitor and good price get it on sale now BF 16 $99
Pros: -looks great -good brand -no problems -cant really notice a difference between this and my 1ms monitor -good size for gaming
Cons: -nothing
Overall Review: I don't use the speakers but i guess thats ok if you like that kinda thing. Headphones FTW.
