Works like it should
Pros: Works just like it should.
Cons: Have to read instructions.
Overall Review: You need to reset the drum counter when you install this item. The installation instructions tell you how to do this. Some brother printers will let you key in a command to ignore the low toner warning, letting you get more pages out of your toner. The owner's instructions tell you how to do this. Some brother printers you can use a trick to bypass the low toner warning by taping black plastic over the toner viewport. But I don't think that trick applies to this cartridge.
Works as Advertised
Pros: It works just like it should.
Cons: Requires the ability to read.
Overall Review: All the 1 star reviews appear to be due to a lack of reading the installation instructions. You need to reset the drum counter on your printer after you install this item. The drum unit comes with installation instructions, so does the printer.
Works like it should
Pros: Works as you would expect it to and then some.
Cons: Newegg increased the price. For all of 2011 Newegg was charging significantly less than retail on Brother toners. Now it (and the TN360) is the same price as retail at ~$68.
Overall Review: The price was nice, but I guess nothing lasts forever.
