Yes it is.  I've purchased others that are cheaper & they just don't seem to hold up like the brothers.  You pay a bit more on this site, but still a huge savings from Office Max.  I've gone back to getting the brothers from this site.

Is this a "NEW" never-been used before manufactured by Brother toner cartridge or a remanufactured cartridge?

Its new with the genuine Brother stickern the box. It does not print 2600 pages but probably up to a 2000 limit realistically atleast for us. Newegg seems have the cheapest price anywhere, I would definatly recomemend this product.

Will you guarantee this is an OEM TN450 and NOT a replacement or compatible product?

I've bought two of these and they were official brother products. The first one has worked flawlessly with my brother printer for 2 years now. The boxes you receive the toners in also serve as return boxes that you put your discarded toner into to send back to brother so that the people there recycle your old toner cart, if that helps proving its oem

is this original Brother  new, not compatible or refilled?

I am pretty sure this is a new cartridge. I have not opened mine, but on the box it has the genuine brother product sticker. I guess you can never know, but its well worth the price. It wont do 2600 pages, mine said toner low at around 1500-1600 pages, though it can print a bit after that warning. The 2600 is more of a theoretical maximum rather than a realistic estimate. Other than that, print quality is good with the correct printer settings and we have had no problems with it so far.

does this toner work on Brother MFC 7860DW?  That model printer is not listed.

I'm not quite ready to replace my toner cartridge but since it is on sale I though I would buy it. Do these things have a shelf life by any chance? I would hate to have it dry up before use.

There is a shelf life, but it is a long time.  It is usually marked on the box.  It comes sealed in an air tight bag, so if you store it in a dark cool, not wet, environment it will be ready for you for a long time.
