Awesome Card
Pros: Love this card so much ordered 2 more for my wife and son. What a huge upgrade for the price. Love Asus products, and this one continues their tradition of solid craftsmanship coupled with competitive pricing.
Cons: It won't open my beer. Come on Asus when will you add a bottle opener to your video cards.
Overall Review: See you in a few years Asus when it's time to upgrade again.
DOA
Pros: Easy to order via the configuration from NewEgg NewEgg was quick to issue an RMA
Cons: Case was broken Power/Reset buttons did not work Was missing a memory module After updating windows/drivers would freeze after 10 minutes of use. Originally tried to buy direct, but customer service was horrible.
Overall Review: Will never buy from this vendor again. Two strikes, and not going to wait for a third.
Nice PSU
Pros: Runs an i5 4690K, AMD R9 290 OCII, i80 water cooler, and basic SSD/HDD/DVD drive setup just fine. Believe there is power left over for 2 Vid cards down the road if needed. Loved the modular design. And did not run into the problem of mismatched labels listed by other reviews.
Cons: None. Does the job, and looks nice doing it.
Very easy to setup
Pros: I'm a huge fan of Asus products, and wasn't let down by this one at all. Instructions were perfect, installing everything onto the board was easy. The BIOS read everything, and setup was very very simple.
Cons: I do not like where the SATA connectors are on the motherboard. When you install the board, lay cables for power and drives they lay right over the SATA connectors which are designed going sideways and not up. So attaching and removing SATA cables requires a lot of extra work. Docking one Egg for this design flaw. Otherwise a great board.
Works perfect
Pros: Purchased this for a i5 4690k. Overclocked it to 4.4GZ and this bad boy keeps it cool at 42deg after 5 hours of CPU testing. Very very quiet. The case fans, and video card are louder than the duel fans attached to the radiator.
Cons: Intel instructions called for using a Y cable for the fans. However fans attached to the motherboard, and the connectors on the Y cable didn't match up with anything on the motherboard, fans or the PSU. Instructions could have been better, so docking one Egg.
Easy Setup
Pros: One of the easiest power supply installs I can remember. Spoiled now by modular PSU's thanks to this. Provides all the wires I needed, and comes with a nifty pouch to put away the extras I don't.
Cons: None
Overall Review: Will buy again
