What a Great Surprise!

HP Laptop ProBook 4525s (XT950UT#ABA) AMD Athlon II Dual-Core P340 (2.20GHz) 2GB Memory 320GB HDD ATI Radeon HD 4250 15.6" Windows 7 Professional 32-bit
HP Laptop ProBook 4525s (XT950UT#ABA) AMD Athlon II Dual-Core P340 (2.20GHz) 2GB Memory 320GB HDD ATI Radeon HD 4250 15.6" Windows 7 Professional 32-bit

Pros: Simple design; nice alum lid and palm rest; runs fast and has a great display; everything runs well! I bumped the RAM, HDD, and loaded it with the 64 bit W7 Pro and it runs like a demon. No complaints with anything on this machine. I really love it.

Cons: A little tough to upgrade, but if you download the HP Service manual (pdf file), it makes it easy. Everything is under the keyboard.

Overall Review: I replaced a Core i3 Samsung with this because I am starting to like the AMD processors more and more. This one runs faster than the Samsung. Go figure!

Lightweight & Sluggish B/T Mouse

Rockstick MS-102SSBT Silver 2 Buttons 1 x Wheel Bluetooth Wireless Laser 1000 dpi Bluetooth Mouse (Silver)

Pros: Fits hand well; lightweight; easy to set up and use; looks great

Cons: Feels very cheap in your hand; moves the cursor VERY slowly and sometimes drops off the bluetooth, causing you to turn it off and back on; sluggish at start

Overall Review: Bought this because it looks great with my silver 2-in-1 notebook, but after a week of use, I decided to go with the old reliable Logitech mouse instead. You may like it but I surely did not.

What a GREAT Notebook for the Buck!

Acer Grade A Laptop Swift 1 SF114-32-P2PK Intel Pentium Silver N5000 (1.10 GHz) 4 GB Memory 64 GB Flash Intel UHD Graphics 605 14.0" Windows 10 S (Manufacturer Recertified)
Acer Grade A Laptop Swift 1 SF114-32-P2PK Intel Pentium Silver N5000 (1.10 GHz) 4 GB Memory 64 GB Flash Intel UHD Graphics 605 14.0" Windows 10 S (Manufacturer Recertified)

Pros: * Terrific Display with good color, clarity, and brightness; Also 1920 x 1080 is a plus in 14" screen * Runs pretty good with 4GB of on-board memory (not expandable unless you add an Intel Optane card to the included M.2 slot * I added a 256GB SSD Hard Drive to the slot and reloaded Windows 10, making the 64GB flash drive a back-up drive; Runs great! * Good battery life ( I am getting about 5 hours at full power) and superb Bluetooth/WiFi that are fast and accurate * Plenty of USB & other ports so you are not limited; I use a Microsoft Surface Bluetooth mouse * Has a great feel to it, with the alloy lid and strong casing; feels substantial in the hands; great traveler notebook * Pentium Silver processor runs pretty much all of the software (not a huge gamer) like Office, photo-editing, and most games that I play * Unit looks new and never used; I think they reboxed new units for REFURBS to save on warranty costs; OK with me as it is a gorgeous machine

Cons: * For this price, I cannot find ANY cons on this notebook (except I had to furnish my own screw to mount the M.2 SSD card drive; it uses a max 256GB 2280 2-slot card drive) * Liked it so much, I ordered another one because my partner wanted one after seeing what a great machine it turned out to be. * If you like to tinker, you will be thrilled

Overall Review: I think this is the BEST price I have ever paid for such a wonderful machine; These guys are really doing a great job on price and quality! Keep it up folks!

Great 17" Notebook at a Superb Price

HP Laptop 17-ca0064cl AMD Ryzen 5 2000 Series 2500U (2.00GHz) 12GB Memory 1TB HDD AMD Radeon Vega 8 17.3" Touchscreen Windows 10 Home 64-bit
HP Laptop 17-ca0064cl AMD Ryzen 5 2000 Series 2500U (2.00GHz) 12GB Memory 1TB HDD AMD Radeon Vega 8 17.3" Touchscreen Windows 10 Home 64-bit

Pros: * Great look and feel w/backlit keyboard and touch-screen * Excellent processor and on-board VGA card (Ryzen 5 and Radeon Vega 8) * Bluetooth and Wireless are very fast and efficient; Has a LAN connector as well * Fairly easy to upgrade if you are proficient with computers; if not, pay someone to do it for you * RAM, Hard Drives are easily upgradable; Has a M.2 slot for SSD drives ( HP makes a great one) * Display is bright and clear with good contrast, color, and sharpness

Cons: *NONE that I can see so far (I have had it about 2 weeks)

Overall Review: I purchased this as a 'second office' computer for my home office. I was a little apprehensive at first, but after receiving the computer, I was excited to see so much computer for the price. The 1TB hard drive is pretty slow, but I was able to make a recovery USB drive, then upgrade the 2.5" SATA drive to a Solid State unit, and also installed an NVMe M.2 2280 1TB solid state stick drive in the available slot (pretty well hidden to the side). I installed the OS on the stick drive and everything loaded quickly and correctly. All of the hardware is top notch. The AMD processor and video card are excellent, and the backlit keyboard is very nice. The bluetooth/WiFi card work very well, and the 17" display is really nice and bright. It comes with 12GB of ram, but I purchased Crucial DDR4 2400 (2-8GB chips) and it runs greaqt. There as a rom drive, so I put in a Blu-ray drive and it plays blu-ray movies like a champ (the speakers are good so the sound is very solid). Battery life is average (I am getting about 3.5 hours at full brightness). I really recommend this notebook to anyone that cannot afford a $1K machine. As far as refurb goes, it came out of the box looking brand new and never used. I think these are HP overstocks being sold as REFURB to reduce the warranty and clear them out. Whatever the reason, it is a great notebook and I am enjoying it very much.

Great Computer when Upgraded; Good as SHIPPED

HP Laptop 15-db0003ca AMD Ryzen 3 2000 Series 2200U (2.50GHz) 8GB Memory 1TB HDD AMD Radeon Vega 3 15.6" Windows 10 Home
HP Laptop 15-db0003ca AMD Ryzen 3 2000 Series 2200U (2.50GHz) 8GB Memory 1TB HDD AMD Radeon Vega 3 15.6" Windows 10 Home

Pros: Even with original hard drive (1 TB 5400 RPM), it works OK, but add a Solid State Drive and double the Memory (from 8GB to 16GB), and it runs really well; Has a great display for the money, and the whole computer feels more expensive than it is. The one I received, although listed as REFURBISHED, was brand new and never used. I upgraded Windows 10 to 1903 (which took about 8 hours), then made a USB RECOVERY DRIVE, then replaced the hard drive with a 1TB Solid State drive and added another 8GB of ram (for a total of 16GB), reassembled the computer, reloaded it, and now enjoying a great notebook at a superb price. The AMD Ryzen 3 (Model 2200) processsor works MUCH better than I would have thought; Very impressed! Bluetooth and WiFi work great (no drops), and the AMD Vega 3 graphics work well. Don't know about heavy-duty gaming, but for me, this is a great traveler in the months ahead.

Cons: Newegg states the Warranty as 1 Year Parts & Labor, but HP shows it as 90 Days. Very misleading! Shipping was very fast and FREE; delivered by UPS Ground; THANK YOU Nothing else to complain about; Notebook is a joy to use once upgraded; Worth the money!

Overall Review: I would recommend the notebook to anyone who wants a great notebook at a BARGAIN price If you are computer literate, then do yourself a favor and UPGRADE to a SOLID STATE hard drive and add either 16GB, or put 32GB of MEMORY (PC4-2400) in this machine and watch it fly; Even after the expense, you still have a great computer at a good price! Once again, Newegg delivers a great deal on a super notebook!

Great Upgrade for Newer Core i7 Processors

G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 64GB (4 x 16GB) 260-Pin DDR4 SO-DIMM DDR4 2400 (PC4 19200) Laptop Memory Model F4-2400C16Q-64GRS
G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 64GB (4 x 16GB) 260-Pin DDR4 SO-DIMM DDR4 2400 (PC4 19200) Laptop Memory Model F4-2400C16Q-64GRS

Pros: Really increases speed on my new 7th Gen i7 Desktop and my new 7th Gen i7 Notebook; bumped both to 32GB of ram (from 16GB) and noticed a major difference in stability as well. Also upgraded both to solid state drives as well. They run like a Z06 'Vette and I am very happy I made the investment. Also, I have used GSkill for years and have NEVER had a problem with their memory. Very reliable.

Cons: Price (although Newegg is always the lowest)

Overall Review: I would recommend this to those who are using 'graphic intensive' applications, like gamers and people who do other design apps on their computers. It is easy to install on most computers and really makes a difference.

Great Seller Overcomes ASUS Glitches

The ASUS UX302LA notebook was a good buy. Even as a refurb unit, it arrived well packed and looking like new. The display, however, had the same problems that have plagued this unit for a year-bubbles under the screen. This one was on the edge, so once the computer was booted to Windows 8, you really didn't see them. This is an ASUS problem, not Voodublu. These are sealed from ASUS and they should have known better than send out a defective unit. I DID want to keep this beautiful computer, so I contacted Staci at Voodublu and we reached a very fair agreement. The company was great to deal with (with NO help from Newegg Flash) and they are refreshingly honest. I am sure that any product you purchase from Voodublu will be great, and if not, they will make it right. A JOB well Done!!!
