Cheap and effective
Crucial 2GB 200-Pin DDR2 SO-DIMM DDR2 667 (PC2 5300) Laptop Memory Model CT25664AC667
Pros: 2GB's for cheap. Bought for a Asus 1000HE netbook, installed in seconds, recognized by system immediately. If you're buying a netbook, do yourself a favor and upgrade the memory, it's cheap.

CORSAIR 2GB 200-Pin DDR2 SO-DIMM DDR2 667 (PC2 5300) Laptop Memory Model VS2GSDS667D2
Pros: 2GB's for cheap. Bought for an Asus 1000HA netbook, installed in seconds. You may need to enter BIOS for the system to recognize the memory change. (You don't need to actually do anything in BIOS, just enter, then exit and let it boot up). With memory so cheap, there's no reason not to upgrade!
