Very good keyboard
Pros: - Helps with wrist posture which reduces tension. - Has some handy hotkeys built in. - Advanced drivers will install itself through Microsoft Update
Cons: - Big and bulky which takes up quite a bit of desk space. - Space bar is very stiff when first using it
Overall Review: I bought this keyboard for my workstation and have loved using it ever since. My wrists have often hurt due to poor habits with typing and this keyboard has helped break some of those habits and reduce strain on my wrists. The keyboard is big and will take up quite a bit of desk space so keep that in mind when you order one (not a true con of the keyboard but can be an annoyance). The other issue is the spacebar which is very stiff and hard to press in the natural wrist position of the keyboard. It's awkward and required extra pressure or pushing it in the center. This slowly went away overtime as the spacebar got more broken in though.
Okay but not good
Pros: -Has great battery life -Slim enough to carry around -Decent performance for this class of laptops
Cons: -ASUS has ditched support for this product. Expect outdated drivers. -Hybrid Graphics are horribly crippled by above. Prepare to research on hacked drivers. -Due to how the computer saves power with hard drive power, the laptop tears through hard drives pretty fast. -Provided wireless drivers will freeze the comp.
Overall Review: This laptop performs decently but there are many out there that are much more reliable. I can look passed the lack of driver support but what kills this laptop is the fatal flaw in the design that aggressively stops the HDD as much as humanly possible which kills hard drives extremely fast. This laptop has ran through three hard drives over the course of 1.5 years. That is not good at all. Would recommend you that you look for another laptop if you want reliability.
Exceeded Expectations
Pros: Much faster than what I originally expected out of it. Was really surprised that it was capable of handling StarCraft II at medium settings all by itself.
Cons: The stock fan is horrible. It broke in less than a week.
Overall Review: You should plan on buying an aftermarket heatsink and fan with this core. The stock fan is incredibly flimsy and breaks easily.
Good wireless card
Pros: Very fast and reliable. Is able to do Wireless-N well.
Cons: Antennas are a little awkward to work with
Overall Review: The antennas are not bad but often have to fight with the wires in the back to get them in a good position.
Another Ordinary HDD
Pros: Large capacity. Easy to install. Consumes little power.
Cons: It's not 7200 RPM drive though this drive was made for storage rather than performance.
Overall Review: It's a standard 2TB drive. Does what I need it to do. Not exciting but Seagate made a reliable drive good for expanding storage to a server.
Horrible...horrible lies
Pros: Works well for like a day.
Cons: Router speed deteriorated overnight literally. The stock firmware was unstable and dropped connection frequently. DD-WRT firmware was fine for a day then the transfer speed dropped to extremely low amounts (8 kbps). I reset the router numerous times to default firmware and various builds of ddwrt with no luck. Absolutely disgusted with this router and it's pitiful that it's beaten in consistancy by my old cheapo netgear router. ASUS router no longer recognized by any system and refuses to enter rescue mode making it a nice paperweight.
Overall Review: Stay away from this router.
