Good Little MOBO
Pros: Good Price, Good Form Factor, Easy installation, and operation. Wonderful for Server operations, or designer workstation
Cons: 1 IDE Channel, No PCI-e x16, few PCI, No AGP - This is not a gamers board!
Overall Review: This board does has x4 SATA ports and supports 533MHZ FSB CPUs and memory, although 800MHz would be wonderful!
Like a Champ
Pros: Formatted the drive like the instructions indicated, and started to install programs just fine.
Cons: Not powered by USB...it comes with it's own wall plug, USB cable, and stand...Would have liked it to be USB powered...oh well.
Overall Review: I like the drive, 16 cache, good storage capacity, and it works just fine.
NICE
Pros: Added this stick to another one purchased two years ago....Set it up dual channel NO problems! Works like a charm 2.5-2-2-7 1T Nice!
Cons: Could buy more
Overall Review: DDR is going away...get them while you can if you have an older system
Poof is in the temps
Pros: This is great for keeping high temp Intels COLD! It droped my Intel 506 from 162F degrees to 95F degrees overclocked with a high stress load!! I picked it up from a friend that bought the wrong socket type, and I'm glad I did, once I get a new proc upgrade, I expect to be able to reach better overclocking!!
Cons: VERY LARGE - you need at least a mid to full tower for this monster, install directions in the box bite!! Look online at the website for better instructions - they have a nice flash guide there, and the mounting plane needs to fit the newer MBDs...
Overall Review: I like this cooler - it's cheap compaired to water and does a really good job at keeping the entire case cool - not just the CPU! My 7800 GTX dropped 10 degrees as well!! A great buy - I will be putting these on all future builds!!
Get it while you can!!!
Pros: Great price, basic install, and with this kind of L2 cache you can't go wrong. This model is gone be gone before too long, and this type of cache is gonna change.
Cons: I didn't buy enough of these!!
Overall Review: Spring is around the corner, and November is almost here!! Buy while you can!
Beautiful Case
Pros: Easy to setup, front panel connectors have modual plugs - not just standard pins, the fans are larger then the standard 120 mm - and are super quite!! I can't tell which is louder - the hum from the TV, the DTS console, or this case!! Truely amazing!
Cons: Make sure the PWS has plently of molex connectors!! With 7 fans that connect directly to the PWS and not the MBD you want a good PWS in this beast!
Overall Review: Case will collect dust easily, as well as finger prints! When I got the case it was missing some of the HDD rails - which is the only item that you need a tool for!! If you don't use the snap in plugs provided. I sent the MFG an email asking for replacements - so we'll see what happens. Over all a wonderful large case!!
