Best Air Cooler I've Used

ZALMAN CNPS9900MAX-B 135mm Long life bearing CPU Cooler Blue LED
ZALMAN CNPS9900MAX-B 135mm Long life bearing CPU Cooler Blue LED

Pros: It keeps temperatures on my Phenom II X4 965 @4.4 Ghz VERY low. I have the voltage at 1.5v and even when video encoding and gaming, the temp never raises over 45c. It idles at 30c, and when watching HD videos, it goes to around 35c. The fan is inaudible, easily the quietest part in my case, even quieter than my case fans (Antec 902). It only becomes audible when the RPM reaches around 1400rpm. And at that point, I'm either gaming or listening to music so loud, it doesnt matter, especially when temps are being kept in the 40's. Even for a 135mm fan, I have absolutely NO problem fitting it in my case, even with the optional side fan on. The heatsink/fan isn't even CLOSE to touching my Corsair Vengeance RAM on my ASUS board.

Cons: If anything, the blue LED isn't bright enough to match all the other blue LED's in my case, so it kind of off-puts the color blending. The least of my worries

Overall Review: I happened to use the included thermal compound instead of my usual Arctic Silver 5. I noticed that it is less runny than the AC5, which is different for me, but it spread just as well, and even to test, I used both types. The included paste gave me an average of 3c temperature drop and for some reason led to the fan running quieter. So I plan to use the Zalman paste in upcoming builds to further test the performance, I am very pleased with it.

Sounds like a Bee is stuck in my PC

SeaSonic SS-520FL2 520W ATX12V / EPS12V 80 PLUS PLATINUM Certified Full Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready
SeaSonic SS-520FL2 520W ATX12V / EPS12V 80 PLUS PLATINUM Certified Full Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: -Quiet for first few seconds -Compact -Well-put together -Well ventilated -7 YEAR WARRANTY...because

Cons: The moment I put a load on my system, which isn't too hefty (4670k, gtx 770, stock, 2 ssds), it started going BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ louder than anything else in my system. So I'm returning it via RMA and praying to the tech deities that the next one doesn't suffer from this defect.

Overall Review: SeaSonic has NEVER let me down before, but I guess there's a first time for everything. They usually have the most fantastic products. Will update review when/if the next PSU is perfect, which I expect it to be.

The absolute best gaming keyboard ever

Corsair Vengeance K90 Black/Metal USB Wired Gaming Performance, MMO Mechanical Keyboard
Corsair Vengeance K90 Black/Metal USB Wired Gaming Performance, MMO Mechanical Keyboard

Pros: This is my first experience with Cherry MX Red switches and they are easily my favorite keys for gaming. Quiet, and you don't even have to push the key down all the way for the key to register. The keys themselves feel great, I don't see myself slipping as much as I did with my Lycosa. And I can see the letters better as well, the backlighting is amazing! 33% for night, 66% for morning, and 99% for day, of course off is perfect for watching movies. The fact that even the media keys are lit is a BIG plus. Makes them easier to see, and none of the LEDs are obtrusive at all, nothing to blind you when gaming. Some may say the rubber domed keys aren't lit enough, but that's perfect, seperates them from the keys you use the most so no slip ups are made in the heat of battle.

Cons: I can honestly think of none, even the software is sweet, easy to understand, easy to make macros on the fly, and even easier to save profiles.

Overall Review: The brushed aluminum finish makes this keyboard stand out from the rest. Keycaps are easy to pull off to reveal the MX Reds and individual LED's for every key. G Keys are on a lower plane so that you don't accidentally press G3 instead of Escape. Has the nicest braided cable I've ever seen with a keyboard. Overall, every aspect of this keyboard was meant for gaming, they even added a comfortable, semi-soft wrist rest to use, unlike nasty plastic ones you get on cheaper boards.

Awesome MMO Mouse, but one big problem

Corsair Vengeance M90 Black 15 Buttons 1 x Wheel USB Wired Laser 5700 dpi Performance, MMO/RTS Gaming Mouse
Corsair Vengeance M90 Black 15 Buttons 1 x Wheel USB Wired Laser 5700 dpi Performance, MMO/RTS Gaming Mouse

Pros: It is by far the most comfortable mouse I've used, the way it's constructed, I'm not even worried about the whole sweat issue I had with my Deathadder. The laser tracks beautifully, doesn't miss a beat. I love the fully customizable DPI settings. And when used in Hardware Playback mode, makes everything easier. SO MANY BUTTONS, I binded them all to the Num Pad keys so I could use them in every game. And they are all placed so carefully, I almost immediately knew where every thumb button was located without making a mistake. Many people are complaining about the software, and I was confused at first as well, but I quick read through of the forums and I realized it was easier to understand than I thought.

Cons: There is only one con I have with this mouse and it's a biggie, I hope that they fix this issue, and if they do, it would warrant this mouse a 5 star rating. None of the side buttons are able to be held in-game, so whenever it says "Hold (button) to pickup" You are unable to do so. A REAL big problem for any gamer. This better be fixed Corsair!

Overall Review: It's nice and heavy, goes perfectly with MMO's/RTS's and a cloth mousepad, though you may find yourself increasing the sensitivity in Shooters. The LED's on the mouse look beautiful and subtle, very nice. Of course a braided cable, should be a gaming standard by now.

Incredible Headset, One Fatal Flaw

Corsair Vengeance 1500 USB Connector Circumaural Dolby 7.1 Gaming Headset
Corsair Vengeance 1500 USB Connector Circumaural Dolby 7.1 Gaming Headset

Pros: Everyone said, "oh it's a USB headset, it'll sound horrible and have no bass." That is not true in the slightest. The sound is amazing, and after messing with the equalizer a bit, it produced quite a mighty thump when gaming. The software is simple...maybe too simple. The stereo setting sounds great for music, the 5.1 is perfect for most movies, and the 7.1 is the BEST for gaming. However...

Cons: ...the one fatal flaw. When gaming, especially during Starcraft II and Battlefield 3, the direction of sound will invert/reverse. Everything on the right side of the screen would come out of the left earcup. Unplugging/plugging it back in did not fix it, I had to restart my computer to fix it. Which was VERY annoying, so annoying, that I requested an RMA after trying to reinstall the drivers, scan the registry, and many other actions. I do hope the next headset I receive from Corsair does not have this problem.

Overall Review: I am not upset for the most part, Corsair RMA's tend to go smoothly from my experience. If that ONE flaw is still there, I bet it's a driver issue, and I will be slightly perturbed that I wasted time with an RMA. Some people say the headset is too tight. You guys have abnormally large heads then, it fits perfectly snug, keeps the sound in and the memory foam helps pull all nighters when gaming.

Superb Budget Speakers

Creative Inspire T3130 2.1 Speakers
Creative Inspire T3130 2.1 Speakers

Pros: - Great Quality - Pretty Portable - High Volume, not much distortion - Look spiffy, not too bland, not too distracting - No loss in quality over time - As a 2.1 speaker system, the bass is awesome, enough to shake a room, especially during loud blockbuster movies and gun-toting video games.

Cons: Not any I can think of/list.

Overall Review: I've used this speakers for about half a dozen different builds. They always perform amazingly, and everyone is always satisfied. In a large room for slideshow presentations, they fill the room with noise. In a bedroom, they sound great and the bass is thumping. Anywhere you use it really, can sound great if the speakers are set in the right position. I will continue to order these, because they are the absolute best speakers in the $50 price range
