Second review

ASUS P5N32-E SLI LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 680i SLI ATX Intel Motherboard
ASUS P5N32-E SLI LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 680i SLI ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: Everything you could possibly want in a motherboard. WOrking fine atm (knock on wood)

Cons: Again no round cables

Overall Review: This is my second review of this item. Just wanted to state again for those having issues with this board that you should really check the Asus forums and Overclock.net. This board often comes with voltage settings wrong. WHen u POST for the first time make sure you immediately go to BIOS and manually set voltages. Most people who are able to POST and then have board die on them is most often due to a over voltage. Also this board is VERY picky about ram...VERY. Check the above stated forums to check what ram people are using and that work. I personally been using Patriot with no issues.

Best card available

EVGA GeForce 8800 GTX 768MB GDDR3 PCI Express x16 SLI Support Video Card 768-P2-N831-AR
EVGA GeForce 8800 GTX 768MB GDDR3 PCI Express x16 SLI Support Video Card 768-P2-N831-AR

Pros: Have not found a game yet that this card will not play at maxed settings. No card on the market right now comes close. I am ver happy with this purchase. PLan on buying another for SLI may during summer or early fall.

Cons: Nvidia drivers for Vista. Decided to go the Vista route rather than XP again. KNew coming in that it be a work in progress so i am not upset. ONly a few hiccups here and there. Heat i do not count as a Con.

Overall Review: If you are buying this car not knowing that it runs super hot then you have not done ur research. It runs so hot that it will radiate heat to components near it. Went with Cool Master Stacker RC-832-KKN1-GP to help combat this since it comes equiped to fit 4 120mm fans on the side. 1 rear and 1 top. Also a Tt Blue Orb II 120mm Heatsink Fan. My motherboard remains at a cool 38C under full load.

Great Case

Cooler Master Stacker RC-832-KKN1-GP Black Aluminum ATX Full Tower Computer Case
Cooler Master Stacker RC-832-KKN1-GP Black Aluminum ATX Full Tower Computer Case

Pros: Has to be the best case i have ever owned. The cooling options for this case do not end. Love all the room i havd for future upgrades. Fits my 8800GTX with more than enough room to spare.

Cons: None

Overall Review: It is much bigger than you think!

Great Board

ASUS P5N32-E SLI LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 680i SLI ATX Intel Motherboard
ASUS P5N32-E SLI LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 680i SLI ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: Dedcided on this board mainly because i trust Asus and have had good experiences with their boards in the past. Before installing and posting for first time plz read up on this board. Check Asus message boards and overclock.net for info. Many problems people who have complained on here have been troubleshooted. All 680i boards are tricky to work with, but if u can get it running correctly it is worth it.

Cons: Asus needs to start giving out round cables instead of ribbon in thier MB packages.

Overall Review: Remember to read up on all info possible before using this board.

Very much impressed

LG L226WTX-BF 22" WSXGA+ 1680 x 1050 D-Sub, DVI-D LCD Monitor
LG L226WTX-BF 22" WSXGA+ 1680 x 1050 D-Sub, DVI-D LCD Monitor

Pros: I also was thinking of getting a 22inch LCD for about 800 until i noticed this one. I am really impressed by monitor. From the 3000:1 contrast ratio to the 2ms (NOT 5ms) response time cannot be beaten by any other monitor in the same size/price category. This is definitely a must buy.

Cons: Does not come with a DVI cable. Not a biggy really but still lol.

Overall Review: Get this monitor!! You will be glad u did.

Another good intel purchase

Intel Pentium 4 2.8C - Pentium 4 Northwood Single-Core 2.8 GHz Socket 478 Processor - BX80532PG2800D
Intel Pentium 4 2.8C - Pentium 4 Northwood Single-Core 2.8 GHz Socket 478 Processor - BX80532PG2800D

Comments: This is the second intel processor i have purchased from newegg. There is no limit to how impressed i am with them. After i had built my second machine i was afraid i ahd received a damagedone. Kept getting a message about cpu over-voltage. After a couple reboots pc got a black screen. Turned out that the motherboard had died. Took my gig of ram with it. had thought that the processor was probaly fried also until i purchased another board and it turned out to work perfectly, eventhough everything else on the old motherboard fried. Eventhough 2.8 is fast...i overclocked it to 3.1. My first time ever doing so....asus mother board overclocking is a breeze. i get 24c-33c. not bad with air cooling and original heatsink and fan huh? Maybe it is because i have 8 fans in there...not including the 2fans of the PS. THANX NEWEGG!!!!
