Really cool little drive

Seagate Backup Plus 1TB 2.5" USB 3.0 Blue Portable Hard Drive
Seagate Backup Plus 1TB 2.5" USB 3.0 Blue Portable Hard Drive

Pros: Very attractive little drive, and transfers very quickly when plugged into a USB3 port. Form factor is nice: compact and sleek.

Cons: None so far.

Pretty good for the price

BYTECC BT-3260T-BK 32"-60" Tilt TV Wall Mount LED & LCD HDTV Up to VESA 600x400mm Max Load 175 lbs., Compatible with Samung, Vizio, Sony, Panasonic, LG and Toshiba TV
BYTECC BT-3260T-BK 32"-60" Tilt TV Wall Mount LED & LCD HDTV Up to VESA 600x400mm Max Load 175 lbs., Compatible with Samung, Vizio, Sony, Panasonic, LG and Toshiba TV

Pros: Cheap, sturdy, well-constructed, simple assembly.

Cons: The low-profile design makes it very difficult to get to the ports at the back of the TV, or the knobs to adjust the angle. I recommend plugging in cables prior to mounting the TV to the rack. Also, the drywall anchors provided were sub-par. When I went to mount the TV, the plate began to pry loose and didn't look like it was going to hold. Recommend either using a stud finder to mount in studs, or going to home depot to get some sturdier anchors.

Overall Review: If I had it to do over again, I would probably spend a little more and get a more adjustable model, but this will suit my needs enough so that there's no reason to replace it.

Great little laptop, especially considering the price.

Acer Laptop Aspire Intel Core i7-3517U 8GB Memory 500GB HDD Intel HD Graphics 4000 11.6" Windows 8 64-Bit V5-171-9661
Acer Laptop Aspire Intel Core i7-3517U 8GB Memory 500GB HDD Intel HD Graphics 4000 11.6" Windows 8 64-Bit V5-171-9661

Pros: This has the power of a workstation in the package of a netbook. With a Core i7 processor and 8 GB of memory, it's very fast and very powerful, but also very small, light, and portable.

Cons: Obviously, you should make sure you're OK with having such a small screen (11.6") on your laptop before you consider this. Also, I'm not crazy about the new UI on Windows 8, but I can't fault the hardware for that. The battery life could be better, but it's completely adequate for my needs.

Overall Review: I stuck with a 5-star rating here, because the only drawbacks I see are limitations directly related to its size (which is something you should be conscious of if you're considering a specialty laptop like this), and its OS, which is Microsoft's fault and not Acer's.

Very rugged and sturdy, but a bit inconvenient.

Apple iPhone 3GS OtterBox Defender Case (Yellow/Black)
Apple iPhone 3GS OtterBox Defender Case (Yellow/Black)

Pros: Very rugged and durable. If you're someone who's prone to breaking phones, this is the case for you. You could probably throw one of these across the room with the phone still in it, and it would most likely survive. I think it's kind of cool looking in its own rugged way. It comes with its own screen protector, so you don't need to get one in addition.

Cons: The cons are fairly significant: - It turns a sleek, lightweight phone into a heavy, rubber and plastic clad behemoth. - The touchscreen is less responsive behind the shield. - The screen shield always seems to stick to the screen in places, but not everywhere, which can make it hard to see the screen. It also adds to glare. - It's kind of an ordeal to put on and take off. - Perhaps most significant is that this case prohibits the case from being compatible with many after-market cables and docks. The standard cable that comes with your phone will still work.

Overall Review: If you're willing to sacrifice a little convenience, sleekness, weight, etc., for extreme durability, this is the case for you. If those things bother you, get something a little lighter-weight.

Great product

Verbatim TUFF-CLIP 8GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive (Black) Model 97014
Verbatim TUFF-CLIP 8GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive (Black) Model 97014

Pros: Price: very affordable Form Factor: I carry this thing around in my wallet, which means I always have it on me, and I don't even have to think about it. Sturdy: As I said, this thing is in my wallet, so I sit on it all day every day. It's been through the washing machine, left out in a freezing car overnight, you name it. Still works like a charm. Style: Everybody I've shown this thing to is impressed. Portability: I've had no problem with this on multiple flavors of Windows and Linux.

Cons: None so far. I love this thing.

Overall Review: I haven't used this for ReadyBoost, nor have I used the V-Safe password protection. I have, however, encrypted a portion of my files using TrueCrypt, which works great, and I highly recommend it.
