The best money I spent this year (on computer stuff)
Pros: Jacked up the speed on my computer enough to upset my cardiologist
Cons: None at all
Overall Review: They back up great hardware with great utilities.
When I get the game, I'll let you know
Pros: Looks good
Cons: I got the video card 2 months ago but it didn't work. I never got the games at all. They seem to have lost my RMA. I can't say much at all yet. But they are friendly.
Overall Review: Ask again later. I'm kind of bummed out now.
Fast, Reliable, Reasonable Price, What's not to like?
Pros: Faster than most other 8TB drives, Reliable, Well supported
Cons: Drinks power (but that IS the trade off for speed, isn't it?)
Overall Review: I keep buying these things. So should you.
When it works, it's great. But this MB crashes violently.
Pros: Fast, Easy to set up, Feature filled.
Cons: Every so often (every few months to every few hours) the BIOS resets itself. If you use RAID, that means it will suddenly start writing garbage all over your disks. I have two of these boards and they both do this. The heat sinks have aluminum Gigabyte logo plates glued to the top. For the Northbridge chip, this ruins the heatsink's ability to shed heat. Since the chip is probably under the graphics card, it will overheat and the BIOS will resset more often.
Overall Review: Too bad these boards are flakey. They have the most features per dollar of any micro-ATX board I've seen.
I couldn't ask for more.
Pros: Higher speed (7200 RPM) Bigger Cache (256 Meg)
Cons: None (yet)
Overall Review: I plan on switching my NAS to all Seagate from here on. They are faster and have more RAM.
Fast, reliable solution to ethernet and iSCSI bottlenecks
Pros: Easy to install, good performance, well supported
Cons: Only 2 more ports
Overall Review: If I had it to do over, I'd get the 4 port version
The Original Dirt Devil (sort of)
Pros: Powerful and Versatile, just like I remember. Lighter than the real original. No battery to run out. Arrived early. Cons: More flimsy than the Real Original. You have to plug it in (a small price to pay for the power) Still the most powerful thing of it's size out there.
What else could you want?
This thing optimally charges all the common (and some not common) batteries and it sells for peanuts! I'm gonna get more and give 'em out for Christmas!
