Has anyone experienced heat issues that disabled or reduced the functioning of the ssd?

Not that I can tell so far. I'm running a custom loop with two large rads in a View 71 TG Case 7700k OC 5GHz and ROG GTX 1080 TI both on water. Not sure what kind of thermals the M.2 is putting out but I also have awesome air flow in my case. I work a lot so when I get a chance to game it's usually around 24 hours straight with no performance loss.

Will this work on the ASRock Z270 SLI extreme?

I didn't the an ASRock Z270 SLI extreme motherboard listed.  However the Extreme4 and Killer SLI both have NVME slots and will support this drive.  If this doesn't answer your question please respond with the name of the motherboard as shown on the box and I can be more specific.

Does it fit for h Intel Core i7-9700F 3.0GHz MSI Trident 3 Arctic ?

The system uses an M.2 NVME drive.  This drive does fit.  You can also pull up the Crucial website and check for the systems compatible upgrades there.  The Trident 3 Arctic does include this drive.

From the manual for your PC kand a picture of the motherboard.   It would appear that your machine can have a standard disk drive or 2.5 SATA drive and/or an NVME or MSATA drive.  So this drive will work for your machine.

No it did not. The mounting screw should be on your motherboard, as the thread width varies per motherboard manufacturer.

If you look at MSI's website on your Motherboard specifications, It does call out it has a M.2 slot on the Motherboard so I would think this SSD should fit.

Is this SSD compatible with a Mac Book Air?

No.  Apple uses a proprietary connector on all of their SSDs.  OWC sells the drives that are compatible with Macs.

The issue has to do with how the drives are keyed.  Apple made this a proprietary connector in their machines.  This is an M.2 "M" key drive, Apple has moved their Key more to the center to disallow other aftermarket Drives.

Is this M.2 B key or M key?

This SSD interface is PCI-Express 3.0 x4 which is M key (B key is PCI-Express x2). Can also tell by the 5 pins on the small tab by the U-slot (B key has 6 pins).

honestly your CPU has little to do with this working or not. Does the motherboard have an M.2 slot? Does it support NVME? based on the age/generation of that CPU I would think that it does not. It looks like you would be better off with a SATA III SSD. This is an NVME drive and you wont be able to take advantage of the speed with older hardware
