Pros: Solid construction The ability to test it before connecting it to anything important Modular
Cons: The cables that are hard wired to the PSU are multi-colored instead of black like the modular cables. the color is easily noticeable as the mesh is very see through. Not a huge con but weird they didn't make them black like the rest.
Overall Review: After hours of searching PSUs I finally decided on this one because it was on sale at the time, had good wattage, good reviews, and is a brand I trust. I'm no electrical engineer but this PSU feels super solid and well built. The cables are nice although as I already mentioned the hard wired cables are multi-colored and can be seen easily through the mesh. I haven't tried it in an SLI config just yet. If I do I'll post an update. Expected more from Asus!
Pros: Thin Bezel Input options Stand is very sturdy
Cons: Quality control Screen outages Don't last long
Overall Review: I bought 2 of these during a black Friday sale back in 2015. 2 days ago (February 12 2018) 1 of the screens died. Since day 1 these monitors have had a tendency to randomly make a loud pop and go black for a couple of seconds. Usually after waking up the computer or first turning it on. Since both screens did it I figured it was a design flaw or something. Now I feel it was likely both were defective. If that is the case, what is wrong with Asus's quality Control? It is under their 3 year warranty but I'm debating whether it's worth paying to ship to them and starting that whole process. I've heard a lot of bad things about Asus's customer service. Would not recommend!
Amazing Card. Not for older CPUs.
Pros: 1. This thing is blazing fast at stock. 2. Can run The Witcher 3 fully maxed out and still maintain 60 fps. 3. Pairs very well with an I7 6700k 4. Soft flexible tubing makes it easy to install. 5. MSI Logo lights up and can be adjusted through with Geforce Experience. 6. Lovely Backplate
Cons: 1. Not a huge fan of the fan it comes with. Will be changing it out soon. 2. Sea Hawk/Corsair logos don't light up. Seriously how hard is it to go the extra mile and make them light up as well?? 3. Only 1 8-pin connection. Not going to be able to overclock very much with a single connection. 4. Feels really plastic-like. Not what I'm use to coming from another brand.
Overall Review: I have always bought EVGA cards until this one. I must say I'm not disappointed at all. Had a weird file/driver issue that took a week to figure out. It acted like the GPU was bad but after resetting windows 10 has ran like a champ since. Also this card is SERIOUSLY BOTTLENECKED BY AN AMD FX 8350. When I was testing the card in my old rig it benchmarked over 6,000 points less than in my new I7 6700K. It wasn't even using 50% of the GPU or Power. So keep that in mind if you have an older CPU.
Pros: Love the ring lighting. Nice change from conventional lighted fans. Really silent yet pushes a decent amount of air.
Cons: Wish they were a tad bit brighter. I was hoping they would cast enough light over my motherboard to make it visible in the dark. Light doesn't really make it past the DRAM.
Overall Review: Would have been nice if the were PWM fans, but you can't have it all.
Not A Good First Experience With This Brand
Pros: Looks Nice Got it for a good price in a combo deal.
Cons: One stick completely failed just after 3 1/2 months. After I removed this ram all my persistent problems (Errors, BSOD, Video Driver Crashes, Random Glitches) that had been plaguing me since the first month disappeared. I spent countless hours researching and troubleshooting all these different issues to find out it was simply this ram.
