Pros: Works great.... It was easy to install on an older laptop using Windows XP.

Overall Review: Installed this adapter in an older Dell D610 Latitude laptop that was getting "low" to "very low" reception through the built in Dell Wireless mini-PCI card. I placed the adapter high on top of my desk, using the free cradle that was included with my order. The reception has gone up to "very good" status, so I am pleased with the performance so far.

Pros: While it worked, it was good. Corsair replaced the unit.

Cons: PSU failed in 3-4 months time. I don't play games or overclock...just surf the internet and check email.

Overall Review: Failed in less than 4 months. Filed ticket on 9/23...received correct replacement unit on 12/5. In the meantime, the CX500M I purchased was mistakenly replaced with a CX430...decided to go ahead and use it in my system, but IT was faulty. Told all this to Corsair, and they said that I had originally RETURNED a CX430 to them...good trick, since I didn't have one to send back! Finally found someone who made the correction in the "system". Everything took so long that I meanwhile purchased a Thermaltake PSU from Newegg. I will keep the CX500M to use in a pinch.

Pros: I ordered this Optiplex 960 because I love the looks of it. I've been waiting for a good deal, and I wanted Windows 7 on it. This is a powerful computer for day to day use...not sure about gaming, as I don't do that. After putting in a secondary hdd and creating a system image to that drive, I cloned the C: drive to a new SSD. After all the updates were downloaded and installed to the Windows 7, I upgraded to Windows 10. (From what I've been reading, it is still possible to upgrade to 10, even though it is past July 28!) Upon verifying that the Windows 10 was authorized, I proceeded to roll back to Windows 7...thus assuring that someday I can upgrade free to Windows 10 if I decide to...I already have Windows 10 on other computers, but I wanted to keep one computer running on Win7, as it is a personal favorite of mine. As soon as the roll back was finished, I did a restore to the system image that was on the secondary HDD. I did this because two previous roll backs on other computers did not result in a perfect OS. Result....a perfect copy of Windows 7 Professional 64-bit on a fast SSD...btw, I am using a OCZ SSD this time, and I notice no difference between this and the Samsung EVO 850 in the other 2 computers! I'm very happy with this computer!
