Sweet Little Mighty Mouse
Pros: If I had the money I'd buy 2 more right now. This little computer is great. HDMI is excellent. Graphics good. I use it for Hulu , DVD Movies , Music , and Games. Counter-Strike Source runs excellent on it. Very snappy/quick. Very quiet/silent and runs cool. Very small. PCI express x1 and x16 2.0 CHEAP PRICE Get it , you won't regret it.
Cons: Wish it had a regular PCI slot for my sound card , but it wouldn,t fit anyway...lol. Memory is maxed out at 4gig ddr2 800....but it is solid.
Overall Review: I don't see why you wouldn't get 5 years out of this system. My set up is this computer , an Edimax usb WiFi card , wireless keyboard , and mouse , an HDMI into my 52" flat TV and optical/SPDIF audio out(from the tv itself) Very AWESOME.
Just Got IT
Pros: Works! What else do you want?
Cons: Nishto.
Overall Review: It's a CAT6 cable , and it does it's job.
Great card for movies
Pros: This is a great card for movies and video playback
Cons: not WIFE proof
Overall Review: My wife burned this card out today......but we won't go there. I'll just order another one.
Great.
Pros: This is a good "N" router. I've owned it since August 2010. Never had a single problem. Dual band , extra bells and whistles for tinkerers. Works with G or N hardware. Works with Windows 7 (32/64). I get 4-5 Bars through walls. This router sits @ the other end of my house. I never have troublr connecting to it , nor do any of my guests. Has WPA2 and AES encryption.
Cons: I did what the Instruction CD said , but it didn't work. Took a little while to set up. I had to manually configure it myself , using MAC address , etc. That is really my only CON. *SEE OTHER THOUGHTS*
Overall Review: I actually had a few ?'s and Linksys' Live chat was great. I had it up and running in about an hour +/- . Not sure why there are so many bad reviews on this product. But I'm sure people have their reasons.
Pogoplug
Pros: Easy to set up. Simple to use. Gigabit ethernet. Print server. Simple user interface. Great support/forums. Works well with Windows 7 64bit and Ubuntu 32bit. CHEAP PRICE , depending where you buy it from.
Cons: Color (lol) , lack of documentation , and transcoding BUT SEE OTHER THOUGHTS
Overall Review: I love this. I use it for movies , music , photos. Works great. You need high speed internet and a gigabit network for it to really shine. I use all CAT6 cable in my network , but CAT5e will be good too. Lack of documentation made up for by excellent website, forums, support. Transcoding is slow but I downloaded Pogoplug Drive 2.5.5 and this makes pogoplug look like an attached external hard drive on my LAN. That way I can access my MOVIES instantly. I've messed around with it at work too (on an island) viewing photos , listening to music. Worked great. But MOVIES would take awhile to view remotely. Once everything is transcoded it's fine though. All-in-All I'm very happy with this.
Good for data/back-up
Pros: Good solid drives. Reliable. Good for back-up/data.
Cons: none really.
Overall Review: I had 2 of these in raid 0 for windows 7 ultimate 64 bit. Worked alright. But I swapped them out for a 500 gig WD caviar black with 32 MB cache. I'm much happier with that. But don't get me wrong , these are good drives. I use these now for storage and back-up
