WOW!
Pros: Fast, even at stock clock. I've neem test rendering with Blender and 3DS MAX for some days now, still giggling at the rendering times.
Cons: Runs a bit warm, although temps under load are not extreme (about 55 to 60 some degrees C). Got myself a Phanteks PH-TC14PE_BL cooler and it seems to keep this beast at bay. A bit pricey but well worth if you need multi-core apps to run fast.
Overall Review: Will try some overclocking ASAP, possibly going to get a hydro 100i (reviews are bit mixed though) before trying pushing my luck.
It's finally here
Pros: Great card, quiet even under load, an excellent choice if you can afford it. Benchmarked for about 2 hours, card does not go over 78 degrees Celsius.
Cons: None I've seen yet.
Overall Review: Once installed, a moment of terror and despair came to me when no picture showed on the monitor. OS was loading fine, heard rumors about a possible incompatibility with the p9x79 pro - turned out to be the HDMI cable not fully inserted - yeah I goofed up.
Big Card, Great Power
Pros: This card is a great performer: unigine heaven benchmark runs quite smoothly, no slowdowns or anything. Tested with some other benchmarks and was blown away by the performance. Installation was a breeze, the card IS BIG and LONG, so make sure you have the right amount of space in your case. It also keeps quite cool and quiet (this is subjective, I know, but it's quiet to me) while under load. Latest NVIDIA drivers seem to work quite nicely with this card :P
Cons: None that I can see or think of until now.
Overall Review: As I stated before, this card is BIG and LONG, will take the same space as 3 normal card to be mounted, also the length might be a problem for some cases, please do your research and take some measurements before purchasing. I had to do some more cable management in my case before the card could fit comfortably.
Cool and quiet
Pros: Easy to install with the right case, had no problem mounting this in my HAF-X, keeps my 3930k quite cool (about 28 degrees C when idle). Instructions are (at least to me) easy to follow.
Cons: Some diverse mounting screws would be really helpful.
Nice mem
Pros: Fast with great timings.
Cons: None so far
Overall Review: Will possibly get one more (!)
BIG and COOL
Pros: Looks great, performs quite well, keeps my 3930k at bay. Thermal paste that comes with it seems to be quite good as well.
Cons: Instructions are a bit confusing, every socket compatible with this cooler is listed making it a bit difficult to follow the proper procedure. Watch some videos on youtube before installing it, just to be safe.
Overall Review: All in all a great cooler, runs quietly (not really a concern of mine but a nice feature nonetheless), docked an egg because of the instruction manual being confusing, but I'd like to recommend this cooler.
Great fan
I've purchased this fan to replace an existing - noisy - fan in a network appliance, needless to say the quality of the product is top, also the fact that is whisper-quiet and can be barely heard - if paying enough attention to it - throughout the day and the amount of accessories that are included in the package, make this a must-buy. Bought Noctua's products before and I've never been disappointed.
