plenty fast enough for gaming
Pros: great chip for gaming..compared to dual at this speed, can be overclocked to match the fx-57 tried it..works...so what..fast enough at stock speed for me
Cons: none
Overall Review: why are people being brainwashed into buying dual core...if your not a multi-tasker...stay with single core processors
Pros: Worked right out of the box...1090t,16gb vengence at 1600mhz...850w ultra..h50 cooler, hd5770 (1), creatives titanium pro, 1tb hd...this did have the sticker on the front "six core ready''some do not
Cons: not really a con but i was considering upgrade to fx processor so i flashed bios accordingly..my memory would only run at 1333..1600 was out of the question, bsod everytime windows loaded. turns out, i didnt want the fx cuz this thing smokes anything ive had in the past. so i reflashed back and im running 1600mzh again. so dont flash it till you have the fx in hand
Overall Review: ive been an asus fan going back to xp cpu's. ive never had an issue like so many here have had.. im happy to say
mmmm mmmm good mb
Pros: i know this board is discontinued..i know 939 socket has gone by the wayside..but this board rocks..i have had it now for close to 4 years and never had a problem..should have called it an a8n sli-timex. when i built with this board. top of line epuipment went in..750watt psu..4 sticks of corsair platnium memory.. fx-57 cpu (changed to dual core a few days ago) 2 7950gt oc's ..no longer a gammer so i sold one off and buy the way, it still works .ran the cpu overclocked at 3.0ghz for the whole time i had it, years. no problems whatsoever. and buy the way my windows xp media center 2005 saw 3 out of the four sticks.
Cons: none, whatsoever
Overall Review: had 2 pc's in the house before long and you guessed it..also this board. sold it off to build a quad core...which i sold off to build a 6core and yes, used nothing but asus and never had a problem...an no, i dont work for asus
amd athlon x2 4800 939 pin
Pros: excellent price
Cons: cons-non,i build computers and these are the best for gamers,no need for duel processors for gamers
Overall Review: stay with single core processors gamers....why pay the high price for duel processors
