With a feature set second to none, the Asus A8N-SLI is a highly integrated NVIDIA nForce4 motherboard with an impressive set of features ideal for high-end tweaking. The ATX design affords better airflow to the processor, along with an innovative heatpipe design that transfers heat to a small thin-finned cooler around the CPU socket; this is supported by the airflow from an adjacent heatsink and fan assembly. Heat dangers from overclocking are much less of a problem with this excellent, quiet, system.
This innovative board takes full advantage of SLI technology, supporting a maximum of 4 GB DDR RAM with performance potential nearly double that of a single graphics card. The back panel sports dual Gigabit Ethernet ports courtesy of state-of-the-art Marvell controllers in combination with NVIDIA's built in Gigabit MAC with NV Firewall and ActiveArmor intrusion detection features.
