Awesome inexpensive GPS

TomTom XL330S 4.3" GPS Navigation with Text-to-Speech
TomTom XL330S 4.3" GPS Navigation with Text-to-Speech

Pros: 1. Well first off this GPS is actually worth a lot more than it is here. Somewhere in the 160-200 dollar range. So getting it for 100 dollars is a steal 2. It has navigation features common to all good GPSs: navigate to address, favorite, POI, home 3. You can plan routes based on your your own preference: avoid freeways, fastest route, shortest route, walking, bicycle route, limited speed and avoid toll roads 4. It has a Help me! feature that lets you know where you are and either drive to or phone emergency services 5. It lets you prepare an itinerary for a specific route you have in mind where you can add way points to make sure that all those locations are visited in your trip. Also since tomtom and Google have teamed up to help with navigation, I have found it is possible to save routes you discover on Google maps to a tomtom itinerary file using a program called Tyre. Awesome, right? 6. Lastly tomtom provides gr8 software that lets you easily find updates and share map correc

Cons: Well the only con I have found so far is that since this is a recertified/refurbished product, there is a slight chance you might not be eligible for a free map update by tomtom. I was one of the unlucky ones. If you are lucky though, within 30 days of your first connection to the satellites, you will be eligible for the free update which is an added bonus. The preloaded map is still great though although some newer roads may be missing.

Overall Review: The CNET review for it is pretty good and those editors are known to be really harsh reviewers. Check it out and see the editors' as well as customer reviews on the product.

Awesome gaming mouse

Logitech G500 10 Buttons Dual-mode Scroll Wheel USB Wired Laser Gaming Mouse
Logitech G500 10 Buttons Dual-mode Scroll Wheel USB Wired Laser Gaming Mouse

Pros: - Excellent gaming grade laser. I have never gotten such amazing precision and speed from any other mouse I owned. Resolution can be customized through Logitech's SetPoint software and it lets you set 3 or more levels of dpi for the mouse, ranging from 200 to 5700 dpi!!! - Great ergonomics. This mouse is perfect for those who are used to palm and not claw mice. It has the right shape for me and no discomfort for my hand after long gaming sessions. - 10 programmable buttons!! How awesome is that? Three are thumb buttons, three for the scroll, two for dpi buttons, LMB and RMB. - Tilt wheel. Great for side scrolling big webpages. - Hyper Scroll. This button behind the mouse wheel lets you choose either clicky precise scroll or frictionless fast scroll, the latter being useful for skimming long documents/webpages. - Finally weight customization! There is a cartridge at the bottom of the mouse that you can load with 6 weights in 1.7 gram or 4.5 gram forms.

Cons: - None!

Overall Review: Seriously go get this mouse. You'll be surprised how much of a difference a gaming mouse makes in games. And this mouse is cream of the crop.

ASUS P5P43TD Pro

ASUS P5P43TD Pro LGA 775 Intel P43 ATX Intel Motherboard
ASUS P5P43TD Pro LGA 775 Intel P43 ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: - Stable. All my components are working at top efficiency. CPU is cool, GPU is awesome, memory, HDD and OD are all fine, front and back ports are all working. There is also nothing wrong with the LAN port as someone mentioned in a review. Seriously go get this mobo. - DDR3 memory. Top of the line memory standard and performance is great. - 1 PCI Express x16 2.0 slot. 1 graphics slot was all I needed and I got it. 2 slots are not worth the extra money. Sure you get more performance but SLI and CF never allow you to utilize the full potential of 2 cards. Besides GPUs get outdated quickly. Wouldn't you rather discard 1 GPU than 2? -eSATA+Optical audio ports. I've been trying to find a mobo with these features and I'm glad I got this one. They're an added bonus to an already great board.

Cons: - None.

Overall Review: To all the owners of this motherboard who cannot get their facts right. THE PCI EXPRESS X16 PORT IS 2.0, or Gen 2, latest and greatest..whatever you want to call it. Instead of yammering nonsense and docking off eggs, spend some time researching your new motherboard. If you don't believe me, install this neat program called GPU-Z that tells you exactly what version of PCI express that your card as well as your motherboard is running at. If you STILL don't believe me, know that this mobo uses the P43 intel chipset, one of whose features is...you guessed it, PCI Express x16 2.0. Yes it's true that newegg forgot to include this information, but come on...is it that hard to look it up? Hint: Use Google.

Awesome Mobo

ASUS P5P43TD Pro LGA 775 Intel P43 ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: Wow. I'm really surprised at the recent reviews this mobo has been getting. DOA? Loops? Open box? Jeez. I had NONE of that. This board is in fact really great. Here are some of the pros I observed: - Stable.

Cons: - None really.

Overall Review: ASUS has this neat program that's within the BIOS called EZ Flash which lets you flash/update your BIOS version easily. Update to version 501 and everything should be fine and stable as ever. ASUS has good support and driver downloads for the mobo on their site so be sure to give that a look after installing your OS, instead of installing the older versions from the included disc.

Awesome GPU

SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 4870 1GB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 CrossFireX Support Graphics Card 100279-1GL
SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 4870 1GB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 CrossFireX Support Graphics Card 100279-1GL

Pros: - Great performance. Runs all the games I have tested so far at max settings and my screen's native resolution (1680x1050) without a hitch. These include Batman AA, GTA 4, Crysis, Mass Effect, Prototype and Resident Evil 5. And by without a hitch, I mean smooth as butter. - Temperatures remain at optimal ranges. It's around 58C idle and 65C load. Heatsink and fan makes the card look sweet too. - Quiet. Most of the sound from my desktop comes from my CPU cooler. - Great accessories. Sapphire makes sure you have every video adapter and cable you could possible use like DVI-HDMI and DVI-VGA adapter, HDTV cable, SVideo-Composite adapter, 2x 4 pin to 6 pin power adapter etc.

Cons: None.

Overall Review: The power connectors are at the end of the card, so make sure there's room in your case. Also ignore the disc that comes with the box. You can get the most updated drivers from ATI's website.
