Works great
Pros: Accurate weight, easy to clean, quick to use, small footprint, auto shutoff, grams & oz
Cons: Sometimes the buttons won't respond to my presses. Could be because my fingers are wet, cold, or some other reason. Not a huge issue.
Overall Review: Bought this because my 7 yr old is diabetic and we need an accurate measurement of her food intake, esp with pastas. This scale is perfect for even her to use.
Not for RPi
Pros: Good storage space/price ratio. Reliable.
Cons: Does NOT work well with RPi, had to modify my config.txt file and install a 1GB USB drive.
Overall Review: Tried using this for my Raspberry Pi. Did not work well. Apparently the video stream from the RPi to too fast for this card. It will corrupt the image stored on this and you will be starting over installing your image just about every other day. I found a workaround on the RPi forums to install a USB stick and modify the config.txt file to fix this. It works well for now, there was just a bunch of headache for my use.
easy to use
Pros: Does what it's supposed to. Displays voltage and current. Rotates between the two every 5 seconds or so. Accurate. Cheap
Cons: If you squeeze the unit while inserting or removing it from a USB jack one or two of the lines may go out. A quick squeeze on the opposite sides will fix it.
Overall Review: Took about 2 weeks to deliver to the US.
Replacement
Pros: Solid drive, good price, 3 out of 4 still working. Bought a 5th as a backup.
Cons: Drive lasted about 18 months
Overall Review: I purchased 4 of these drives for a raid 5 configuration. I move 350MB of video to them every 10 minutes. I can't complain that 1 failed within my warranty period. Seagate took about 2 weeks to replace the failed one, I provided shipping to them.
Easy, Reliable, Excellent Qualtiy
Pros: This dash cam is easy to setup, install, & use. It takes great quality pictures, video, audio, and has a good frame rate. It has been very reliable mounted on my truck's windshield. The included software does not require any installation. While showing the video it looks up the coordinates and pins you on the map. This camera also shows you current speed in MPH or KPH.
Cons: For me the recording is in multiple files, largest being about 7 minutes. It's not a huge deal, would just be nice to press play and fast forward a single clip instead of searching through 30-40 clips.
Overall Review: I installed this onto my 2006 Silverado windshield and wired it into my rearview mirror for power. When I need to review the footage I simply slide the memory card out of the bottom of the camera. The camera can also be removed from the windshield with a simple motion. I was so impressed with the quality of this camera, it's probably better than my Note 3's 4k video!
Small Business/Home Office
Pros: Prints fast enough. Scan quality is decent. Fax works well. Black quality is good
Cons: Color print quality is poor, the images printed are overly bright and quality is washed out. Canon claims this is a fast printer (first to print), not true, my Brother monochrome will beat this from the start and spits out better quality blacks in half the time. Printer is heavy
Overall Review: I bought this because some of the parts on my brother HL2070n are starting to fail and I desired the color, scan, copy, fax functions. This printer works very will for my small business needs. I mostly print contracts, planning material, and documents. I have tried a few pictures and have been disappointed. Most color inkjet printers will blow this printer away in terms of quality. The scanner works great. You install a small piece of software on each PC you want to scan to, choose that PC from the list, and wha-lah. Saved on that PC as a PDF or image as you specified. Faxing took some playing but that is because I'm using a MagicJack. Works well after getting it setup right. Copying works well and is as expected with print speed. I didn't realize how heavy this printer would be. If I remember right it is close to 80 pounds.
