Great ITX motherboard for people who need Thunderbolt

ASRock X570 PHANTOM GAMING-ITX/TB3 Mini ITX Thunderbolt 3 AMD Motherboard
ASRock X570 PHANTOM GAMING-ITX/TB3 Mini ITX Thunderbolt 3 AMD Motherboard

Pros: - It's X570 - It has a Thunderbolt 3, and its the only one . - 115x mounting hole, allows you to rotate your cooler freely for the desired orientation. - 60A DrMOS and 4+4 power phase( with multiphase controller), good for its size, and will power an Ryzen 9 processor without problem. - Not Too expensive, compared with other X570 motherboards. - You can turn that RGB lightning off right in bios, no need to install a software. - Native support for PCIe bifurcation, you can split the x16 to x8x8, if you have the adapter.

Cons: - Made in Vietnam, I can see excessive flux not cleaned on the board and even on the Audio chip. - The space for CPU cooler is extremely limited, Cryorig C7, Noctua L9i/L9x65 BEARLY fits. - Chipset fan running at 5000rpm.( Like most of the X570 motherboards) - The BIOS defaults to use an "FHD display" mode, which renders bios setting in 1080p, this is a good feature, but that makes my UHD monitor unhappy and outputs a black screen. I have to connect to another FHD monitor every time I clear the CMOS to change bios settings and turn the FHD mode off. Be aware if you have a monitor with high resolution, you may need a low resolution one to change the bios setting. - Side mounted SATA connector is easily blocked in lots of SFF cases. - Only one m2 and both m2 and Thunderbolts connects to the X570 chipset (if HWinfo is correct). I know the space is limited and cannot ask for more, but this is a con. - Only 4 USBA in the back, enough for me, but not for many.

Overall Review: All in all, I'm satisfied with this board. It has a Thunderbolt and it works. Very happy to see that we can use Thunderbolt on AMD platform, for an SFF pc, internal space is limited thus opportunity of external expansion means a lot, and Thunderbolt provides such opportunity. There are some small problems of this motherboard, but most of them are bearable, except the default on "FHD mode" one. Hope Asrock will fix this in future bios updates.

Most Critical Review

A fast Router, but the power adapter is bad.

NETGEAR Nighthawk X4S AC2600 4x4 Dual Band Smart Wi-Fi Router, Gigabit Ethernet, MU-MIMO, Compatible with Amazon Echo / Alexa (R7800)
NETGEAR Nighthawk X4S AC2600 4x4 Dual Band Smart Wi-Fi Router, Gigabit Ethernet, MU-MIMO, Compatible with Amazon Echo / Alexa (R7800)

Pros: It can achieve about 70MB/s reading on an dedicated NAS using an 867M AC adapter. But the built-in USB Ports should be fast enough for most people, just a little bit slower in writing performance compared with a dedicated one.

Cons: Power failures. The adapter given is a low-quality one, which reboots the router from time to time since the first day of using. Now three months later, that power supply cannot even keep the router up for more than half an hour. I changed the power supply with the one from a external hard disk, the router runs for several hours and no reboot so far.

Overall Review: It's really bad that I have to prepare another power supply to make it reliable, as an $199 router, Netgear should spend more money to include a better power.
