Pros: Great performance, plenty of main memory and 1 GB Video memory. Vista has been performing well, no problems other than the normal abundance of glitz. Screen is ULTRA bright and the keyboard is exceptional for a laptop. Wireless speed is the same as Ethernet cable, according to "speedtest". Great looking computer and it is a lot lighter than I thought it would be.

Cons: The first one I had to send back to Newegg because the keyboard started failing, but before that I had to reload the OS (4) four separate times while trying to clean up the bloatware. I luckily recalled the need for backups and didn't lose all of the 60 some MS updates required to bring it up to date, or the other software I was unsuccessfully installing. Newegg sent me a new one and it arrived ahead of schedule, I was only without a laptop for a week. The replacement has NOT exhibited any of the bad behavior of the first one, and bloatware, incl Mccafee all removed without problem. The only downside is the machine comes without Bluetooth! Which REALLY surprised me, I thought ALL of the newer ones had it standard like the HP I bought for my wife a year ago! So, my bad for not reading the specs carefully enough, not a deal breaker but disappointing. BUY THE EXTENDED WARRANTY it's cheap and VERY helpful if you get a problem child.

Overall Review: Only talked to Acer support once and they were prompt, helpful and took care of my problems.
