Awesome Case/Low Profile/Gaming Tower

Pros: This case is awesome. The case came with three fans (black) with blue glow 120 mm. I ended up replacing all them with Apevia Blue Fans. It has room for up to 7 fans. 2 Side (1 if you have a huge cpu heatsink) , 2 Top, 1 Bottom ( if your power supply isnt to big) 1 Front, 1 Rear. On the top front of the case is a place to put memory cards, usb devices or whatever. I liked this because I always had stuff sitting on the top of my tower. All in all the case is awesome. Front See Through Grills look cool and also catch dust. 2 USB Ports on front of CPU as well as Sata. I had plenty of room to stuff extra psu wires in bays that I was not using and you cannot see them through the grills which was a plus. I chose this case due to style and size. I had an 18 inch height limitation due to under desk shelf. I didnt wanna put it on the floor either. The case also comes with a grille for a floppy drive or card reader. The bays are all hd size but have bracket to convert, only suplied 1
Cons: If you had alot of optical drives and filled all the drive bays wire management would pretty much be impossible. This case is a good size but like most after filling with the parts was pretty tight. The power and reset buttons are small silver buttons at the top of the case.. Ive had no problem so far but some people may thing these are cd rom buttons and cause accidental shut down, but I've had no problems. The bottom case fan could not be used due to power supply taking up to much space, ( and I wouldnt call my psu huge), I also was not able to use 1 side fan due to my zalaman fan taking up too much room. Not really cons seeing how my cpu temp is amazing. I also like how the top fans just pop out for easy cleaning and replacement. The hard drives are also in a cage that the fan attachs to which I thought was nice. You must pop off front case cover to do so... Just remove any connections from the mb first because the supliied cords are just a little bit too short. Highly Recom

A headset that's, ahead sets, but fails to stay ahead long.

Pros: I am honestly not a huge headset guy. I genuinely love surround sound speakers that produce realistic environmental effects for gaming and movies. However, after building my rig, I was suggested towards this headset paired with my SoundBlaster XifI Fatal1ty 5.1 soundcard. Seeing that they shared audio technology and that when paired with my soundcard that the headset was able to effectively render 5.1 surround sound, I wasn't convinced but went for it anyway. I can honestly say that I was thoroughly impressed with the audio that this headset produced. The volume levels were amazing and never even came close to ever maxing out the volume while wearing them, even when I had them as loud as me ears would comfortably allow, and believe me I like loud, I still had major headroom to go higher. I did crank them a few times without them on and was amazed at how clear and undistorted the sound remained. The headset itself is beautifully designed. The color scheme and design is spot on and just looking at them urges to use them. I loved the mic design which was roughly an 8 inch flexible rubber that had a 90 degree jack that you plugged into the head set. The mic worked extremely well, was crystal clear and reverbs and never had any issue with the level or the clarity of my voice while chatting online. The headset was extremely comfortable and the top band that rested across your head was an extremely soft padded material that was barely noticeable when wearing. The headphones were made of the same materials as this band, but despite the soft and light weight feel, longer gaming sessions definitely left a tight aching area around the ears that snug fitting headsets can tend to leave. Really didn't expect that because the headset felt extremely light weight, loose, and very comfortable while in use but was still felt well balanced and durable. The mic was limited in adjustment but worked well. It had the adjustments needed to position the mic appropriately, was small and light weight and was hard to even notice when it was attached to the headset. The detachable options was a feature that I loved, and the mechanism seemed to work well and held the mic firmly in place and plugged in while attached. The headset cord was extremely long which I thought was great at the time, given the fact that the headset has to be plugged directly into the soundcard, but ended up being the biggest flaw of the headset. Software Suite - Headset Controls - The software suite that came with the soundcard worked flawlessly and had an amazing amount of control over the headset itself, as well as the mic, which had a few features like a few voice changers, reverb settings and some other tweaks you would expect from headset software, volume levels, equalizers, etc. The options that controlled the headset were amazing. There were individual modes for different types of content, movies, music, gaming, music creation etc.. Each mode had it's own adjustable equalizers and customizable presets and even had different interface layouts and designs. Each content mode was designed for that type of audio in mind and had it's own settings and presets which provided an amazing amount of customizing, and provided fully customizable presets, that allowed equalizer levels, volumes and options to be saved. The software was very intuitive, with an amazing amount of customization and control over the headset, and even allowed you to test and adjust the 3D Surround sound settings which worked flawlessly. The software was extremely stable and despite the length of time used and the modifications made to settings, it very rarely crashed. All in all, when I used this headset, I was amazed at the immersion level, the sound quality and how realist the environmental effects were produced through this headset and how accurately it delivered sound so that you could hear every direction it came from and even if the sound was coming from above or below you. Worked really well and was extremely useful while gaming. The headset was comfortable by unable to wear for extended sessions. The design and customization were great and every part of the headset functioned as it should, when it worked. However after less than a year of use, which was seldom due to my preference, the headset began to show it's flaws.
Cons: After what couldn't have been more than 6 months of owning, the mic stopped working. It would work when moved around but was obvious that the jack had issues. The band across the top of the head began to crack and show extreme signs of wear despite the fact that the headset was rarely used. The cord for the headset was extremely long, and should of had a desktop box, that allowed you to not have to retreat to the back of your CPU tower to not only plug and unplug the headset after each use, but also plug and unplug one of the jacks used for one of the 5.1 surround sound speakers. I ended up setting up my front jacks on my desktop which was a lot more convenient, but felt like this issue could have been easily avoided. However the headset did have a lengthy cord to allow for this connection. Another thing that I disliked about this setup is that the headset speakers and mic were the same cord, but on the end of the cable was split into 2 jacks which both had to be plugged in. One for the headphones and one for the mic. I understand why this had to be done, and I believe it was to work in tandem with the soundcards surround sound ports and features and probably is what allowed for the customization and surrounds effects that the set had, but was still a nuisance and even more so when you wanted to try using the headset elsewhere only to grab them and quickly remember, and just end up sadly putting them back down.
Overall Review: I have bragged about this headset many times to buddies, but was followed by the cons which sadly seemed to outweighed the pros and ultimately ended up dying and essentially become a paper weight. The headset had a great look and feel to them and the sound quality and features were par for the course, but in the end a few design flaws and poor jack design, caused the headset to be far more trouble than it was worth, and rarely was used and ultimately died before I really could even justify or use them enough to feel that my money was well place. Again, like I said I'm not a huge headset guy, but this set added to that trend in the end. I wouldn't buy them again. I wouldn't recommend them to a friend, and unfortunately despite how great they sounded, looked and felt. There just wasn't enough life in the product and ultimately was used far less than I expected due to design flaws that could of easily been rectified.
Sony CD-Rom, Worth The Money?

Pros: It's a CD-Rom Drive! What does it really do besides read CD's and DVD's right? Im not one of those people who plugs theirs optical drives into software to find out every little detail on it's operating specs. I do know that this CD-Rom does read CD's and DVD's without a problem. I have also read CD's from my Sony DVD Burner. As of 2 months ownership it has read and have had no problems with anything I have put into it. Read speeds are decent and it does whats advertised.
Cons: I dropped one Egg because this drive opens very slow. Not abnormaly slow but I like to press that button and have it pop right out. This drive does not. You press the button it waits a second then opens slowly. I also bought a Sony DVD Burner at the same time and it opens about 3 times faster then this one. I almost RMA'd it for this reason, but the opening mechanism sounds like it's working as designed so it's probably just the way it's made. Not really a big con. Probably isn't even enough to drop an Egg but I find my rating to be high anyway so I droped an Egg for this reason alone. I installed this device on a Windows 7 64 bit operating system and had no driver issues. Actualy everything listed below in my configuration was completly plug and play. Everything in Windows 7 once installed was found and working with no user installations, or drivers. Windows 7 IS completly plug and play.

Good Price, Good Cable, Good Quality! Data Xfer with a Smile.

Pros: These cables are the perfect length for a mid tower case. My Sata MB ports are in the lower right hand corner of the motherboard and when reaching to the top of my Rosewill Destroyer case to hook up my cdrom ended up being pretty tight but did fit. The color of these were a dark blue which I was happy about. The picture I remember looking at were a light blue which really didnt go with system colors. All cables and clips work as advertised. I like the metal latchs provided. These are actualy the best Sata latching system i've worked with. Click in once inserted and must be depressed to release cable. If these dont clip to your MB or a device, it's more likely that the device just doesn't have the indents for the clips (mine wouldnt) in my Asus P7P55 WS MB. Data Transfer is right where it should be and all cables worked perfectly. One side is 90'd for ease of installation which is defintly nice. All in all these cables are great cables and do exactly what there suposed to.
Cons: Not really a con but if your looking into these cables to hook up devices a pretty good distance apart in anything larger then a mid tower, I would probably go with the next length. I fit these into my top mid tower devices with very little extra cable left over. When figuring cable length I always like to get 6-8" longer then the top to bottom case demension. This is due to the fact you lose an instant 2-4" in connections and need about the distance of the top of your case for your devices furthest from your sata mb ports. Of course for hard drives and devices closer to ports could go with shorter cords, though these are so thin that hiding is not a problem. Funny I get blue cables to color coordinate my case and I can't even see them when my case is open. Should of went with my MB's red cables. O well. Also if you have a little extra cable rather then cables that just fit, it makes them alot easier to tuck out of the way and hide.

Great Speed, Nice Design, Ram Superiority that stays cool.

Pros: This ram was installed into my Asus P7P55 WS Supercomputer Motherboard with no issues or modifications needed. This was paired with an Intel Core I7 860 cpu. I was worried about compatability because the MB specs listed this kits 3 Channel 6 gb kit, but I went with the 8. which was not listed. I am not a big overclocker and have not adjusted any timing settings for these, but do want to. This ram is very fast and stays very cool with no aftermarket adjustments. Windows 7 appears to be using about one stick of this ram for system processes and the other 6 is left for program allocation, which read is about right. The heatsinks on this ram looks great with a red color scheme and cool jaged fins on heatsink. Their are 4 screw holes in the top of the ram which im assuming is for further cooling. I saw other ram packs that had these extra heatsinks included. Mine did not and I wonder why as this would have been a perfect package deal. As for OC support????Im running at sys specs.
Cons: The only real con that I can really give these sticks is that with most ram in a full 4 channel sets that i've found. They usualy come with a detachable screw on heatsink which screws to each ram chip for added thermal protection. This set did NOT come with one. Each ram stick has a small screw on the flat middle section of the stick which leads me to believe that there is an added heatsink. If you buy a full 4 channel set, like other manufacturers, these pieces should be provided. Secondly, which is not a con to the Ram but more to my motherboard manufacturer. My motherboard does have ram overclocking settings but as of now according to my Turbo V Evo Software, which is part of Asus's AI Suite Application for monitoring cpu configurations my ram is only running at 1333. There are no higher settings then that without manualy adjusting the ram which Im not familiar with. This is aggrivating knowing that this ram is made to run at 2000. Though problem isnt in manufacturer, its MB.

Amazing Gaming Headset! Eggcelent Quality, Eggcelent Price!

Pros: This gaming headset is 100% what I was looking for in this purchase. This headsets drivers were 100% compatable with Windows 7. I had no problems once so over getting this paired with the Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Professional 7.1 Channels PCI Express Card. Everything from driver to software installation was a success. When paired with the xfi card, and console, the sound output is amazing! The EAX effects are superb and the microphone is crystal clear. The silencer features works awesome. Tried it on and off and the diffrence is phenominal. The removable headset is a nice touch. The headset itself is rubbery like the 360 headset so you can mold it. The sides of the headset are trimmed in red with a small Fatal1ty logo on the side, with great carbon fiber mesh along with the L and R for headset positioning. I found the headset to be very comfortable in between the 3-6 hour gaming period. The sound reproduction is simply amazing. Highly recommended!!!
Cons: In between the 3-5 hour gaming range and the top padding gets stiff due to the frontal curve design of the headrest. I noticed this can be traded for VERY slight ear discomfort by oversizing the headset slightly. The adjustments on the headset are nice and firm and do not have the (will get loose over time feel). After adjusting all the settings the sound reproduction is simply amazing. I can't explain how real this makes games feel. If you want to be able to tell exactly where your foes are in games. This is the headset for you! The headset also has voice altering personas which actualy work quite well.. Doesn't sound cheap like those old vc effects. All in all I think this is an amazing headset and would recommend it to any real gamer looking for a decent headset. The headset itself before EQ was VERY bassy but I wouldn't say too much. I also use this with several Ipods and I think it sounds eggcelent. If your using MB sound and these sound like dirt. It's not these.
