A Music Lover's Dream Card!

Pros: I was beginning to think that all sound cards were geared towards gaming, so as a music fan, discovering this card was a real revelation. Forget Creative and their line of outdated gamer sound cards, if you care about listening to music in the best quality, this is the card for you. I don't care about hearing subtle background noises in some game, but I do care about reproducing the sounds from my music collection as accurately as possible. So if you consider yourself an audiophile or music fan of any degree, you have found the card for you. The difference between this and my old X-Fi card are astonishing... if you are going to this card from the standard card on your PC, you'll be absolutely floored by it. The headphone amp is truly impressive, even with subpar Sony headphones... definitely play your favorite tunes with the headphone amp, you'll be blown away. Movies sound great too of course, as does any web videos, etc.. it's just a fantastic card in every sense, I'm very happy.
Cons: It would be nice if the headphone setting was always on, you have to switch from the speakers to the headphones whenever you want to use them... but I get that this is an amp and it sort of makes sense. I would have also like to have seen a digital "in" slot, but I get that real estate is an issue on the card itself. A front panel adapter would solve this, and it would have been nice to have so you don't have to reach around the back of your system every time you want to plug in your headphones. The software settings can be a little tricky to get right, but once you do, the results are phenomenal. Do a Google search and see what others have done, for me it was getting the card to play 24bit 96khz FLAC files to play without down-sampling, but this was rather easy to sort out. These are all nit picks of course, I have no real complaints.
Overall Review: The card itself makes an audible clicking noise when Windows starts and shuts down, but don't worry...this is totally normal. Also, throw away the CD that comes with it and install the latest driver software from ASUS's website.
Great idea, but too noisy.

Pros: I needed a HD cooler to cool a drive that I mounted in a 5.25 slot (with an adapter). I didn't need my drive to be hot swappable, so buying one of those ugly assemblies for $30-$50 wasn't an ideal solution, but this definitely was. I'm actually surprised that there isn't more competition for a product like this, I would think there would be more of a need for it. It's definitely a great idea, and with some tweaking, it can be the perfect solution.
Cons: I took two eggs off for the noise. This thing is noisy, really noisy... I'm not being picky either, it's noisy enough that it will bother you, trust me. It's the nosiest fan on my system by far... including an array of 3 HD cooling fans, a rear fan (pre installed in my case) my PSU and the CPU cooler... that's saying a lot!
Overall Review: I still like the concept, so I'm simply going to replace the fan with a quieter one, which should be easy enough. So basically, I just paid for the metal frame... but it's cheap enough to make it worth it. I just wish I had ordered a quiet fan along with it initially. Not a big deal at the end of the day.
You can't beat the size you get for the price...

Pros: The size was right and the price was amazing (I got the Black Friday deal). Any bigger than 25" would have been overkill, but this was the perfect size for me and it's a nice improvement over my 22" Samsung. The colors are vibrant and right away you feel as though you are looking at a quality display. If you plan on watching any movies or video you are going to have to make some minor tweaks, but once you do you'll be very pleased with the picture quality of this monitor. For the price you just can't go wrong...
Cons: The stand sucks...of course. I think most monitor stands are sub par, but this one is a real stinker. It's not height adjustable (not many are) and it's cheap plastic. It would be nice if there was a DVI cable included, but I had an extra one, so I used that... I tried HDMI and I think DVI is definitely the way to go. Obviously the speakers are terrible, but who among us is really using built in speakers anyway? This shouldn't be an issue at all. Overall the picture is great (after tweaking using the awkward controls), but the black levels suffer if you're watching a movie or any kind of video that has black or dark scenes (or letterboxing borders). The problem is mainly from the back lighting bleeding through the edges of the screen that adds brightness where there shouldn't be any. However, this is a common issue with LCD monitors, just maybe a little more prominent with this monitor. I actually managed to minimize this issue by getting a height adjustable stand (read below).
Overall Review: Luckily I avoided issues that some others have had such as noise and dead pixels. The stand was a big problem for me because I like to have control over the height of my monitor and the tilt adjustment just wasn't cutting it. I ordered a height adjustable stand made by 3M from NewEgg (Item #: N82E16848021346) and it made a world of difference. The monitor looks so much classier and sturdier with this stand attached (although you break the warranty by removing the included junk stand). Adjusting the height also minimized some issues I had with the black levels as well. Definitely consider this additional purchase when buying this monitor.
Buy this stand!

Pros: I recently purchased a new 25" monitor, and of course the stand that came with it was a complete piece of cheap plastic junk. The stand was also rather low, so I was looking for a stand with height adjustment, which for some reason in quite rare with standard monitor stands. This stand totally fit the bill for me on paper so I took a gamble on it.. I'm so glad I did! This stand really makes my monitor look better as I can adjust the screen to eye level. It can even rotate vertically, which I doubt I'll ever need, but nice to know it's there. The stand was ridiculously easy to assemble and is extremely sturdy and well built. I now feel at easy knowing my monitor is attached to such a well made stand. I also have a lot more room on my desk as the base is totally unobtrusive.
Cons: It could be about $10 cheaper, but hey... couldn't everything? It's a quality product, so the price is more than justified.
Overall Review: If you're buying a new monitor, adding this to your cart is an absolute must. I can't think of another stand that NewEgg offers that is this versatile and sturdy. I cannot be more pleased with my purchase.
Wow

Pros: It's quiet, really quite, I'll even say it's silent. I heard others say "it's silent" and I thought, they probably mean it's silent for a giant cooler...but no, it really is silent! And this thing cools my 950 extremely well, I couldn't be happier.
Cons: None as long as you can fit this beast inside your case. This will take up a lot of room, make no mistake. In my case, it was just a little too big on one side to clear my Corsair memory, so I cut the fins on that side to accommodate them, I wasn't about to return it. It's not a con, I'm just telling you how I dealt with the size.
Overall Review: I read the reviews here and everyone stated how big this thing was and I thought to myself "well, I've seen big blowers before, I'm it won't be anything too big". I was stunned when I took out the box alone, I mean... it's a beast. Photos don't capture just how big this thing is. You need a full tower to fit this thing in securely, I'm not sure if a mid sized case will work.
