Awesome Motherboard....
Pros: Fully loaded motherboard, awesome sound, don't need to consider an aftermarket sound system really, Comes with all you need, really well thought out and designed, and fast boy can we say fast. Very Stable.
Cons: Don't like the location for the MGuru clock, felt like it should be a seperate unit outside the case, USB and Firewire cables are all too short for a Tsunami case versuses location on motherboard from the top bay, and a VERY power hungry board.
Overall Review: Definately go for a 600+ Powersupply if you run this with a 7800GTX vid card or plan to go SLI, my friend's PC has gone through two Powersupplies, one was a 500, the other was a 550.
Worked out of the box
Pros: Worked out of the box, light and easy install.
Cons: Haven't tested the burn function yet, if it doesn't work I will update this review within the week. However if it does work then I won't and you can just assume it works. :)
Overall Review: Cheap price, newegg customer service was great to work with, and with promo code and free shipping it was $14, how can you complain about getting a DVD/CD burner for that price tag. Wish it had lightscribe capability...but not complaining.
Nice for the deal...
Pros: Bought it as an open box set up, and all the contents were there, flashed the bios to the newest set up, and overclocked away. Amazing board for the price that I paid for it. I have an e5200 hitting 3.8ghz stable at 1.31v and reaching temps no higher than 48C on full load for both cores.
Cons: The DDR2 slots are a bit close to the video card location, so if you run a large card (got a 4870hd) the locking clips touch it. Also not a huge fan of where the main Power port is located...kind of a bad spot in my personal opinion...so layout is a little off.
Overall Review: For the price/performance benefit board is awesome. Never really was an MSI fan, they were always unstable. But get the BIOS issue out of the way, and so far this board has been awesome. On top of that no board company offers longer than a 3 year warrenty...so in my question what is the point? This board is maybe 5 milliseconds slower than a lot of the higher end boards, and at almost half their price or better...there is no reason to spend more when you get this much for less.
Great proformer
Pros: Got it in an older Athlon XP Barton Machine. Still keeps it up to par with everything else. Low Cas Lat., nice speeds and boots up at 2gb everytime in XP. Can't ask for more. Just wish I had a better video card in that AGP slot...oh well just going to have build a new machine. :D
Cons: none
Works beautifully
Pros: Quick transfers, simple install, and everything worked beautifully. It is in a church computer that does all the powerpoint/video work for the church on sunday morning, and it is flawless and reliable.
Cons: None
For gaming for sure
Pros: Bought this for a friend, and he loves it. He is playing crysis on it and swears that it is nice being 20 feet away from his 52" LCD without any lag time. Can't complain.
Cons: The only complaint he mentioned, was that he thinks it needs almost a direct line of sight at that distance. Because when he puts the mouse next to his leg, the signal can't seem to go through his leg to get to the PC in time. Only a simple warning. It is 20 feet away with a wall in between him and his computer, what more could you really ask for?
