Incredible

Hanns·G HW-223DPB Black 22" 5ms DVI Widescreen LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 1000:1 Built in Speakers
Hanns·G HW-223DPB Black 22" 5ms DVI Widescreen LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 1000:1 Built in Speakers

Pros: Big, bright, and beautiful. Upgraded from a 10 year old 19" CRT and will never look back. Everything is so sharp and the colors so vibrant. Design is sharp too with a thin border and integrated power supply. USB ports on side a big plus. Price and rebate and free printer nice too.

Cons: Arrived with one stuck pixel (red) right in the middle of the screen. Fixed it using the pressure/power on technique described at http://www.wikihow.com/Fix-a-Stuck-Pixel-on-an-LCD-Monitor. Not crazy about the OSD, but I've never found one I liked.

Overall Review: Works at native resolution (1680 x 1050) with Radeon 9250 128MB.

Worked great for a while...

AZiO BTD-V201 Micro Bluetooth Adapter
AZiO BTD-V201 Micro Bluetooth Adapter

Pros: Tiny. Worked great for a month. Supports A2DP. Used it two or three times with my Motorola S805 headphones.

Cons: Now get the error "Thank you for evaluating the Bluetooth Stack for Windows by Toshiba. The evaluation period has expired. Please obtain a license for this version of Bluetooth Stack for Windows by Toshiba". The software won't run and the adapter is useless.

Overall Review: Shame on me... I lost the installation CD. Running Windows XP Pro SP3 on an IBM Thinkpad T42.

Very Nice Drive - Highly Recommended

Seagate FreeAgent GoFlex 500GB USB 2.0 Ultra-Portable Hard Drive (Silver)
Seagate FreeAgent GoFlex 500GB USB 2.0 Ultra-Portable Hard Drive (Silver)

Pros: Very quiet. Sleek design. 500GB capacity for around sixty bucks. Fast too. Haven't benchmarked it, but it feels just as fast as my internal laptop drive (which may not be all that fast).

Cons: White status light is always on. Doesn't go out when you eject the drive in Windows. Also doesn't flash with activity (though it might glow brighter?). No serious cons at all.

Overall Review: The GoFlex adapter is interesting. Changes a mini USB to a combination SATA data and power. The adapter then plugs into the back of the drive (mates up very nicely too). Wonder if I can use any SATA drive with the adapter.

ADATA 4GB Flash Drive (USB2.0 Portable/Gray) S805 4GB GRAY
ADATA 4GB Flash Drive (USB2.0 Portable/Gray) S805 4GB GRAY

Pros: A beautiful, durable, functional design. Part carabiner, part switchblade, part memory stick. The cold heavy metal of the clasp and matte finish of the insert feel great in the hand. I haven't measured transfer speeds, but this drive seems faster than most. Packaging is also very nice, but could also be a con. I bought this so I could plug into the side of my Thinkpad without the drive sticking out a several inches. I lost my last drive when the laptop slipped out of my hand and fell a few inches to the couch. The memory stick was badly bent and broke as I tried to remove it. This drive has a detent in the 90 degree position so I can plug it in and fold it forward along the side of the laptop. This drive doesn't stick out nearly as far as most others.

Cons: The drive is pretty large. I wish the "plug" portion didn't stick out so far. There's still a 1/4" gap between the memory stick and the computer. The packaging, although downright luxurious, is an environmental disaster.

Overall Review: I bought the 8GB Super Talent Pico C at the same time. This tiny sliver of a drive is another way to keep your flash drive close to the computer. It's smaller, but slightly thicker than an SD card. Also a very nice drive.
