My Problems
Pros: Vista 64 automatic setup no fuss. Floppy works great. USB2 is supper fast.Unit fits snugly in the 3.5 bay with no force needed.
Cons: First attempt to insert SD card in reader was met with some resistance, but with slight urge, locked in and read the data. Second time SD card was inserted, a snapping sound occurred and the reader would not function. Poor quality construction.
Big problem
Pros: None yet
Cons: This card crashes my Vista 64 system no matter how I try setting it up. I have 4 gigs of DDR3 , plenty of disk space, Asus motherboard w/NVidia 430 chipset, and 6000+ dual AMD. Plugged this in to my PCIe slot, installed the software. Then while reading the instructions, first was instructed to install the hardware then the software, and a few spaces later was instructed to install the software then the hardware 2nd. I figured I was in trouble right then. Anyway, when Microsoft Media setup gets to the part where it serches for channels, I get a blue screen and a memory dump whether I select automatic setup, or manual. Sent an email to AVer, but no answer. Thought I would pop this in and watch the games over new years. Yea right.
