So far so good!
Pros: -all the main features I wanted on a board (4 RAM slots, RGB headers, AM4, M.2) -the QLED debugging is actually pretty useful -Finally got my 3300X running :D -i liked the layout of the board/was pretty easy to work with -ASUS BIOS is pretty slick too
Cons: -one of the SATA inputs ripped off while doing some cable management/i didn't think I pulled THAT hard :/ -Probably overpaid but will hope to upgrade the CPU in 2 years or so...
Overall Review: -happy with it/would buy again -will update if anything warrants it... -cheers! Enjoy Ryzen everyone!
Failed but Replaced - Ask me in a year...
Pros: -got this board to continue using my i5-3570k which I think still has life in it -simple board worked fine for first three months -board itself is easy to use -took a chance and got a ASRock board due to the limited 1155 socket options still available
Cons: -board worked as expected for 3 months then suddenly would reboot randomly and more often with shorter durations -original motherboard was stuck in a reboot loop after 5 seconds. no beep. no post. no video and is completely useless -very disappointed and of course it is out of return/refund range to Newegg **BUT** ASRock RMA'ed it so I was pretty happy with that to be fair
Overall Review: -originally reviewed the board and gave it two eggs. Since then ASRock RMA'ed the board and I'm back up and running again! We'll see how it goes... hopefully, this time, it is still running a year from now... There was no explanation given as to why the motherboard failed so quickly but ASRock did replace it and did so without any issues
Solid Upgrade
Pros: i had 256G now I have 1T it works great it is storage - what more is there to say? write/read seems fine to me
Cons: Newegg didn't come to my house and install the M2 for me :P
Overall Review: Would buy again
Solid Drive
Overall Review: It is a drive. Installed easily and it worked. *shrug* Seems fast to me... Boots Linux manjaro in seconds.
Perfect for web use
Pros: -it was relatively cheap -basically just a browser in an OS... it will be interesting when the Android functionality becomes available. provided you understand its limitations - it is really useful -SD card reader -HDMI -boots fast -can have a bunch of tabs open with minimal slow downs -life was better when I figured out the two finger touch for right click :D -sound is okay - I stream a ton of talk radio - not great for music -no issues so far with battery life
Cons: -really should have got a Chromebook that had a backlit keyboard -ChromeOS does feel pretty restrictive at times
Overall Review: -would certainly get another Chromebook - the OS seems to get updated every 3-4 weeks and some big OS changes expected in the future
Solid Case
Pros: -love the snap-in drive bays for both 5 and 3 inch drives -no blood loss on sharp edges which is refreshing -room for 4 120mm fans is nice > allows for many LEDs to light the case up -love the window -well placed USB and Power On/Off switches -first Deepcool case -like the tool-less panel screws for the main side panels
Cons: -some tinny noise with rattling of fans - not entirely sure why, the fans are snug -the noise is from the top fans that are side by side - took one off and the noise is gone
Overall Review: -would buy Deepcool again
