Excellent Build Quality -- Great for Gamer or Serious User
Pros: If you're looking to power up a high-performance computer, this thing is a beast. It can handle up to 1000 watts of power, which means it's perfect for hardcore gaming or any power-hungry tasks you throw at it. 80 Plus Gold certification, which not only makes it super efficient but also saves you some serious cash on electricity bills and you know that it's built well. If there is one thing you don't want to cheap out on, it's a power supply. Being fully modular, so you can connect only the cables you need, making your build look clean and professional. I also like that they provide you with a beefy looking power cable, not some wimpy one. I had this power supply hooked up to a i7 9700k with 32GB of RAM and an Intel Ark 770. No problem at all, I mainly play RUST and this power supply wasn't even breaking a sweat. Good venting for the heat that was coming out, but honestly it wasn't too bad at all. Much better than my last EVGA 750 watt power supply.
Cons: First off, it's quite pricey compared to other power supplies out there. If you're on a tight budget, it might be a bit of a splurge. Also, because it's a high-wattage unit, it might be overkill for some average PC builds. Unless you've got some serious power-hungry components or future upgrades in mind, you might not fully utilize its capabilities. Another thing is that the cables, although of good quality, could be a tad bit stiff and hard to manage. So, keep that in mind if you're all about that clean cable setup, it'll take a bit more work to keep it clean and hidden.
Overall Review: If you're in the market for a high-performance power supply, the CORSAIR RM1000e is definitely worth considering. It delivers the power you need for demanding tasks, boasts excellent efficiency, and comes with a range of useful features like its modular design and built-in protections. Just make sure to evaluate your specific requirements and budget before making the final decision. If you're a serious gamer or tech enthusiast who wants top-notch performance and doesn't mind investing a bit more, this power supply won't disappoint. However, if you're on a tight budget or have a less power-hungry system, you might want to explore other options that better align with your needs. Ultimately, it's all about finding the right balance between performance, budget, and future expandability. I'll run this power supply for a long time. I really like it.
Better coolers out there...
Pros: Keeps your CPU cool for sure. I installed this setup on my kids LGA Gigabyte board. It has an older i7 2600k, if memory serves. The CPU is nice and cool, much cooler than the stock cooler. He likes the pretty flashy RGB, but we need to use an aftermarket setup for it, since his board was older. This isn’t a big deal with the new boards that have the correct header for RGB. The fans are smooth and seem well built; I don’t think they’ll die anytime soon. Heat sink material is nice too. Instructions were pretty easy to understand.
Cons: LOUD! Don’t buy this if you want something that is quiet. Even with setting the fans to a “silent” mode in the BIOS, they are still quite audible. I find it annoying. My son doesn’t seem to mind since he has gamer boy head phones on. The installation even with an open side for the main board, was sort of tricky. You honestly need to pull your board to get this thing installed properly. That is a pain, but it is what it is. The back plate was a tad tricky to get all the screw to line up right; it just took some attention to detail. Once that was in place, it was fairly easy to lock the cooler down. The little spring clips can be tricky to line up and snap into place. The fins are also quite sharp so you need to be careful with that. The thermal paste they also provide is a complete joke honestly. Luckily I keep Artic Silver on hand at all times.
Overall Review: If you don’t mind getting your hands dirty a bit more, i.e., removing the board and dealing with slight alignment issues, this isn’t a bad cooling fan. It’s sort of on the loud side, but if that is something that doesn’t bother you, or you have the computer 10 feet away or in a closet, then you’ll be golden. Older boards will require a LED controller, they can be found on NE for 50-60 bones. New boards have this built in. For the price this isn’t a bad fan if you can live with some of the issues. I probably would recommend spending a bit more on a Noctua product.
Another awesome easy to work on case!
Pros: Build quality feels solid, the steel and tempered glass construction gives it a premium feel. Cable management is a breeze thanks to the spacious routing channels and Velcro straps. My build ended up looking very clean with minimal effort. ARGB lighting is tasteful and easy to control via motherboard software or Corsairs own controller (if you have it). Plenty of space for high-end GPUs, multiple drives, and even large air coolers or AIOs up to 360mm. The case comes with different options like a side fan mount and a sag bracket. The sleek front panel gives off a robust and sharp look for the case. Modular design, including Corsairs InfiniRail™ Fan Mounting System Compatible with reverse connector motherboards
Cons: Top panel clearance is a bit tight if you're trying to fit thicker radiators or tall RAM with top-mounted AIOs. Tight fit for large motherboards and installing a 280mm or 360mm radiator in front with fans may reduce GPU clearance significantly. No rear exhaust fan included.
Overall Review: Corsair continues to show ingenuity and robustness in their cases, especially in the new Frame cases. The case starts off well with a great design and great looking front panel. There are interchangeable clear and color plastic panels for the metal piece on the side and the glass is crystal clear. The built in GPU mount is a nice touch. It strikes a perfect balance between performance, style, and build quality. The case feels solid right out of the box. The steel chassis and tempered glass side panel give it a premium look and feel. The front panel's design looks sharp with its angular cutouts and the case finish is very fine. It includes three Corsair ARGB fans installed. Cable management was a breeze thanks to Corsairs routing channels and Velcro straps on the back panel. Theres plenty of room behind the motherboard tray, and the PSU shroud keeps everything looking clean. Support for up to 360mm front radiators or 280mm top radiators gives flexibility for liquid cooling setups too. No issues fitting a full-size ATX board, a large GPU can fit as well as a tall air cooler.
Great choice for custom builds, very high end looking!
Pros: The TRYX 360 MM Panorama SE AIO is a great choice for a custom computer build. The overall build quality is very good, better than the first version, and the pump and heat block unit seems much more robust and is much smaller. The screen is not too noticeably different than the first version but is on a different bracket and allows for a vertical mode. It comes with all the necessary hardware, the unboxing is once again a treat, and all the documentation is easy to understand. On top of it being another great addition to the lineup of one of the most unique coolers on the market, there are other pros: The ARGB and non-led versions of the fans are very sturdy and well-built. They look great as well. The screen is easy to install and magnetically clicks onto the pump base, and uses forks. It has a very high resolution and is crisp and easy to understand. It is also built off of Android, as I recognized after it rebooted for a firmware update. All the cables are of high quality and the tubes are inside braided covers that look professional. They are also long enough for the big cases needed for a large cooler like this, and bend easily, and you can rotate the pump block now to fit your case, as the old one was one way only. The software for the cooler is easy to use and provides a way to upload custom backgrounds from screen capture, preferably a 1440p MP4 video, similar to animated desktop backgrounds. The inbuilt library is small but has some excellent animated backgrounds for the cooler. There is an option to show many settings, including Temp and % Usage for GPU, CPU, and RAM, as well as other voltages and temps, and date and time. You can also show the GPU and CPU model, and orient these settings on the left, middle, or right of the screen. The new SE model features waterfall mode, and a METAL mounting bracket rather than a plastic one in the first edition. It also allows for a rotatable pump base. The new SE unit is built better, and doesn't have a fan anymore.
Cons: The most obvious is the price. Although expensive, it is much cheaper than the first edition. The software could be better in certain areas, as there can only be 3 on-screen settings, and the uploading and screen capture could be better, but the updates have made things easier to use. The SE screen mounting forks keep the screen in place, however it is at a small downwards tilt. The attachment could be better, but the waterfall mode and ability to rotate the block make up for this. -The SE screen still has a matte finish, however, it does still reflect some light from RAM sticks, possibly making it hard to see. Both the first edition and the SE are a small bit reflective.
Overall Review: As a conclusion, this is a great choice for a cooler that stands out and gives a good performance. For the price, there is room for improvement, but it is way better than the first edition. The pros definitely outweigh the cons, making this an even better choice for a new high end cooler. It keeps the processor cooled and looks good in the process, and nothing out beats the screen on this thing.
Excellent SSD for many applications
Pros: The Crucial P310 is a great SSD for its price. This is a drive that boasts fast reads of up to 7,100MB/s and writes up to 6,000MB/s. This GEN4 NVMe is for PCIe-capable lanes and can be compared as 20x faster than a common SATA SSD. This drive is easy to install for anyone on laptops, consoles, and desktops. There are other options available in 500GB and 2TB. I tested this drive with a multitude of games, and the load times were quick and the games installed very fast. When tested, all the speeds match up (see picture). Overall, this is a great option for anyone looking for a well-priced, quick, and compatible NVME for their setup.
Cons: No real cons honestly.
Overall Review: I would HIGHLY recommend this product. Crucial makes good stuff and has great support should you ever need it, which is something that is important to consider.
Amazing product! LOOKS AWESOME!
Pros: The TRYX 360 MM Panorama AIO is an excellent choice for a custom computer build. The overall build quality is very good, and the pump and heat block unit seem very well put together. The screen is a nice touch and can display different information suited to your needs. It comes with all the necessary hardware, the unboxing experience is fantastic, and all the documentation is easy to understand. On top of it being one of the most unique coolers on the market, there are other pros: -This unit is similar to the 240MM and 280MM versions, however, the radiator for this one is way larger and useful for cooling hot processors. -Both the ARGB and non-led versions of the fans are very sturdy and well-built. They look great as well. -The screen is easy to install and magnetically clicks onto the pump base. It has a very high resolution and is crisp and easy to understand. It is also built off of Android, as I recognized after it rebooted for a firmware update. -All the cables are of high quality and the tubes are inside braided covers that look professional. They are also long enough for the big cases needed for a large cooler like this. -The software for the cooler is easy to use and provides a way to upload custom backgrounds from screen capture, preferably a 1440p MP4 video, similar to animated desktop backgrounds. The inbuilt library is small but has some excellent animated backgrounds for the cooler. -There is an option to show many settings, including Temp and % Usage for GPU, CPU, and RAM, as well as other voltages and temps, and date and time. You can also show the GPU and CPU model, and orient these settings on the left, middle, or right of the screen.
Cons: The most obvious is the price, at 349 USD. Although expensive, nothing comes close to the looks of the TRYX Panorama 360. -The software could be better in certain areas, as there can only be 3 on-screen settings, and the upload of videos can be hard sometimes, and the settings might take a while to load on startup. -This is a large cooler, 360MM, and the unit sticks out considerably more than others. However, there are smaller versions available. -The screen has a matte finish, however, it does still reflect some light from RAM sticks, possibly making it hard to see. -The rear mounting bracket is made of plastic and strips easily.
Overall Review: This is a great choice for a cooler that stands out and gives a good performance. It is pure eye candy, and the unit is well-built and works great. For 349, there could be some more improvements, but it is a great package. The pros heavily outweigh the cons, making this the most supreme cooler on the market. It keeps the processor cooled and looks good in the process.
