Solid as can be

Pros: Board is solid, fast, well designed you can fit just about any aftermarket cooler on it, running with 4 gb of 1333mhz mushkin 9-9-9-24 timing, and it is solid as ever, I was able to get a pretty good overclock on my q9450 to 3.2 with 375mhz front side bus and the stock multiplier and voltage set on auto. got 12k on one 3870 toxic with this setup. always remember to pair with a fast hard drive as now a days they can bottleneck your computer majorly.
Cons: the cmos did need to be reset on first boot, came with a dead cmos battery (the reason most people are complaining about boards having reset to default settings in bios) so if you have problems booting just reset the cmos battery.
Overall Review: believe it or not I got this running stable with the memory in the first and third slots rather than the second and forth like most are saying are more stable with ddr3 boards. I originally was not going to leave a review but after seeing people posting about dead boards I figured I had better put my two cents in.
wow I am amazed at this.

Pros: none really....
Cons: installed an e8400 into this board like many reviewers said they had no problems doing. so I get my OS installed(vista for the record) and everything seems fine then I look at my core temp it read 48c I wasn't doing anything intensive just surfing the net. then I went to find a bios upgrade as I assumed it must just be a bios problem.... then I get it started and BAM... the power shuts off as the cpu according to the bios overheated so it went to auto shutdown (above 70c or at least what the bios thought was that high). no more mobo= sad sad man
Overall Review: if your gonna get this board better hope you a. get lucky with a version that doesn't have this bios flaw. b. have another non e8*** series intel processor so you can update the bios safely. and I am sure this will come up I use artic silver and use it properly for dual cores. have built many a pc in my day.
additions to previous review

Pros: great layout. solid board once bios is updated
Cons: the nb heatsink sucks and is a pita to intall on the board
Overall Review: I figured I had better add to my previous review that I have used the same proccessor on x48 chipsets (the exact one I used on this board) and the temps were around 30c to 35c idling as I use aftermarket heatsinks, that's why I was a bit frustrated that the bios said I was idling at 48c and I also wanted to add if you get a board like this and use that processor there are some preventative measures you can take first shut off or turn to highest shut off temp in bios possible. then update bios immidiatly. after not being frustrated for a while I realize I should have done that myself.
Apologies

Pros: read OT
Cons: read OT
Overall Review: sorry for writing about a board I don't have but I want to make it very clear and save some people alot of money after voiding some waranties. This one is for those that said this is flexible. you can use one nvidia card on this motherboard but NOT two as sli requires a chipset with sli capabilities, crossfire requires a crossfire chipset. that is a crossfire bridge that is included not an sli bridge. you should not talk about what you don't know about.
