Most Critical Review

Can not believe that they are still trying to sell this thing

Logitech G940 Flight System
Logitech G940 Flight System

Pros: If it worked might be able to come up with one to justify 1 egg.

Cons: No fixes to the listed community problems. Read the logitech forums carefuly to see if problems with the system applies to your sims.

Overall Review: I read the reviews here and determined it was user error. The error is on my end. This thing is junk. 99% of sims out there do not recognize it and no one is willing to fix it, neither logitech (they gave up on this thing in 2010) nor game coders can seem to fix it either. I saw 1 post where a guy completely rewired and reboarded the thing to make it work. That is how extreme the issues are with this stick.

Very Disappoited With ASUS

ASUS M4A88TD-M/USB3 AM3 AMD 880G USB 3.0 HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
ASUS M4A88TD-M/USB3 AM3 AMD 880G USB 3.0 HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: Full featured micro motherboard.

Cons: Tons of CPU and Memory problems. Getting this error on every boot after posting: New CPU Installed! Please enter SETUP to configure your system. Press F1 to Run Setup Press F2 to load default values and continue Called ASUS support got to a tier 2 agent. He said to swap the cpu and memory out to see if it is the motherboard. So not having the spare parts around I either have to buy em or pay the local pc shop to do it. Catch 22 cost wise there. Going to send the board back to egg for exchange. Hope better luck with a new board.

Overall Review: Very unhappy with ASUS tech support. Been using their products for many years now with no issues. The one time that I need help they drop the ball. Gave board 1 egg for features and one cause it works when it wants to. Side note, be sure to research what memory you plan to use with this board it is very picky. If the memory error light comes on you can use the memory OK! button to try to fix the error if not going to have to use their supported memory. Not for High End Gaming

XFX Radeon HD 4670 1GB DDR2 PCI Express 2.0 x16 Graphics Card HD-467X-ZDF2
XFX Radeon HD 4670 1GB DDR2 PCI Express 2.0 x16 Graphics Card HD-467X-ZDF2

Pros: 4670 chipset...XFX quality and warranty...small and compact...cheap...it will get you buy till you can get a better one.

Cons: memory is very slow and does not like to be overclocked...this causes a real bottleneck of the cards performance...stock heatsink does not cool the memory it sits about 1-2mm above the memory chips...overclocking is wortless

Overall Review: i bought this card to replace my 3870 that died after 3 years of hard use...i didnt expect much for $70 but the card wont even run NFS Most Wanted on anything over medium grapics, on medium still only gets 30fps average...and its performance in NFS Shift is aweful, low and turning everything off still only managed 25fps average...i am sure some people find these frame rates acceptable but not for me...i didnt want to try Crysis i didnt want the card to have a nervous breakdown My final thoughts are the chipset is good but get it with gdd3. Unless you are like me and was forced back to using the HD3200 on my motherboard, save up the extra money and get this chipset with better memory or step up to the 48XX. I will use the card until I can save up for a 58XX then box this one back up.
