Simple and Great!!

EVGA E758-A1 3-Way SLI (x16/x16/x8) LGA 1366 Intel X58 ATX Intel Motherboard
EVGA E758-A1 3-Way SLI (x16/x16/x8) LGA 1366 Intel X58 ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: Fired up first try no problems at all. This board has great features and is a breeze to set up. I had started with 2 gigabyte mobo's and had nothing but problems. Kept all the same components switched over to this mobo and presto, everything worked fine. Also they have 24/7 phone support if you need it. I can't say enough good things about this board and the company backing it!

Cons: The only con is that I didn't buy this sooner and wasted time with another brand!

Very Bad Experience....

GIGABYTE GA-EX58-EXTREME LGA 1366 Intel X58 ATX Intel Motherboard
GIGABYTE GA-EX58-EXTREME LGA 1366 Intel X58 ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: Looks really good on paper and comes in a nice box...

Cons: First board came and I found resistor in the bottom of the box. RMA'ed it and got a new one. The new one worked briefly and then started giving me memory errors. After getting past that problem the board would no longer recognize all the memory. I believe the board has a bad dimm. I'm using Corsair 1600 2gb modules that are new and test fine. The bios for these boards are far from final. I'm not an OC'er but was looking for a board with alot of options thats how I picked it. Before buying this board I'd look at some feedback on various forums and see if you really want to deal with some of the issues. Many online retailers have stopped carrying the extreme version. Newegg gave me great customer service and I'll now be trying the comparable evga mobo since its no longer in stock.
