Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 - Core 2 Duo Conroe Dual-Core 2.4 GHz LGA 775 65W Processor - BX80557E6600

Pros: Speed Demon. 5.3 Vista Rating (pretty high).

Cons: Heatsink does not connect to motherboad very well!!! Tough to get in.

Overall Review: I will be buying an aftermarket heatsink.

PCI-E only 4X's.

ASRock 4CoreDual-VSTA LGA 775 VIA PT880 Ultra ATX Intel Motherboard
ASRock 4CoreDual-VSTA LGA 775 VIA PT880 Ultra ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: 2 Types of RAM, 1066Mhx FSB, Quad-COre compatibility, This board gives you the abitlity to do a "semi-upgradable". Read Cons to see why I call it "semi".

Cons: PCIE IS NOT 16X!!! I emailed ASROCK and they told me, "PCIE slot is 4X"!! The company webstie only said"PCI Express. Newegg says "1 x PCI Express Graphics slot" in the "PCI Express x16" column. I'm VERY Upset. I thought I would be able to upgrade the video card in the future. BEWARE!!! I got swindled by somebody!!

Overall Review: I dont know where the other reviews got their information. I was told by ASROCK email support.

The Details Matter

MasterCase Pro 5 Mid-Tower Case with FreeForm Modular System, Window Side Panel, Top Mesh Cover, and Watercooling Bracket by Cooler Master
MasterCase Pro 5 Mid-Tower Case with FreeForm Modular System, Window Side Panel, Top Mesh Cover, and Watercooling Bracket by Cooler Master

Pros: Feels really solid. Comes with 3 fans (although I cant use all of them - no fan controller). Thick side window. Good Cable Management. 3 Filters. Modular HDD enclosures with rubber feet that touch ghe case. Plenty of internal room. A great all-around case.

Cons: Top cover floats on the 2 handles and is not attached with any screws. One single, well-hidden screw would be all it needs. Feels cheap because of this. No Fan Controller or power splitter. CM includes molex adapters for 3 fans to attach directly to a psu. I only have one molex connector on this power supply for some reason. So, I can only run one fan :( No option of "downgrade" parts included. ie. Handle, top flat grille, and non-windowed door. I'm not currently using a top radiator and I like the look of the 2 handles and flat top grille instead of the cheap top grill that keeps wanting to fall off. I was hoping they would be included, but i guess i was wrong there. "make it yours" ahem! Shiny rivets poking through on motherboard panel. They should of maybe put those on before painting, or put a dab of black paint on top of them before shipping. Audio cable from front panel is poorly wrapped and shows about a half inch of colored wiring near the connector. Thumb screws are too short and feel like they are barely hanging on. 1/2-1 full turn and they are snug.

Overall Review: Shipped really fast. Bought it on Sunday night. Got it on Wednesday. Overall its a great case, but I feel they cut some small details that shouldnt of been overlooked.

Looks nicer than it feels.

Logitech G402 910-004069 Black Wired Optical Hyperion Fury FPS Gaming Mouse with High Speed Fusion Engine
Logitech G402 910-004069 Black Wired Optical Hyperion Fury FPS Gaming Mouse with High Speed Fusion Engine

Pros: Very sensitive left / right clicks. Game profiles (if you know how to do it - its a secret that is in the cons section), DPI presets and DPI shifting. Not battery powered because wired.

Cons: I find that the buttons just don't feel comfortable enough to want to use them. I have large hands and i still have trouble with this reaching the single thumb button. (Having to use the tip of you thumb feels awkward - even after 5 months of heavy ownership.) The 4 left G buttons are sharp and uncomfortable to the touch. (not sharp like they will cut you, more like the rounded lip of a soda can) At this point i think i would rather have a mouse with just 1-2 big easy-to-reach rubber thumb buttons, rather these buttons that make me not want to touch them. ALSO: ThIs thing didnt come with software. I had to manually navigate the web in search of the Logitech Gaming software to set up profiles and advanced options. If i didnt know this mouse uses this software, I would of been forced to use windows default with no DPI sensitivy/shifts, no G key functionality, and no profile capability. I would of returned it if the shipping/restocking was financially an option.

Overall Review: 1. The buttons are very sensitive. I find myself making a muscle on the back of my hand to hover my fingers; rather than simply resting my finger on the mouse. If i get too comfortable on the mouse, i might accidentally click. I cant put this as a pro or con, because it was a con when i first started, but my muscles got used to it over time, and now i find the click sensitivity an advantage in competitive gaming. 2. The mouse is light weight. Might take some getting used to depending on what you're coming from.
