PREFER THIS OVER NORTON 360

Pros: I've used Bitdefender on a Windows PC for several years, but figured I'd give NORTON 360 a try. After three months, I gave up and purchased a new license for Bitdefender from New Egg. Although Norton may have been a tad quicker on a demand scan, constant ad's and pop-ups from Norton drove me nuts. And it seemed any notification for a useful add-on from Norton was behind a paywall. And Norton did not have a right-click function for Secure Delete. Sorry I ever gave up Bitdefender!
Cons: None
Overall Review: For a "inoffensive" security product, stick with Bitdefender.
OK FOR BASIC RETURNS

Pros: Familiar interface, pretty easy to navigate. Like new ability to import and read PDF documents. Cheaper than competing Turbo Tax.
Cons: Think program interface beginning to show its age. As in years past, seems to concentrate on obscure details, but bury what I think are important and common issues. For example, lots of questions about serving in military, but comparing whether a married couple should file joint or separate returns is still buried as a separate feature. Why isnt this automatically computed through the main interface as you enter data?
Overall Review: Especially for taxpayers from high tax states (New York, California), the Tax Reform Act of 2018 pretty much eliminated ability to itemize ($10,000 / $ 5,000 limit on deductible State and local taxes), so most people will probably file their returns with standard deduction. If you used the program before, looks exactly like prior years. But think interface needs a more slick and polished look, like going from Windows XP to Windows 11. Yet due to costing half as much as Turbo Tax, Ill probably stick with it.
PRETTY GOOD VALUE

Pros: Sounds great, easy to set up.
Cons: Have a Vizio TV and unless I'm doing something wrong, annoying that TV remote does not automatically turn on sound bar at same time. Have to use the separate sound bar remote. Power on button for sound bar remote not obvious to find in low light.
Overall Review: Think it's a good value (I purchased a factory refurbished unit.).
FINE PRODUCT

Pros: No problem with 2 x 2GB sticks on ECS board - Vista Premium 32-bit recognizes 3.5GB.
Cons: None
GOOD VALUE BAORD

Pros: Nice layout. Installed no problem (other than my Antec case being a very tight fit.) Good upgrade for midddle of line Dual Core CPU's.
Cons: None
Overall Review: Installed with CORSAIR XMS2 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Desktop Memory; Sunbeam PSU-COM680-BK-US 680W ATX12V Modular Active PFC Power Supply; PNY VCGGTS2501XPB GeForce GTS 250 1GB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card - on Vista Home Premium 32-bit O/S. All play nice with each other.
GOOD VALUE

Pros: Lots of modular power cords - bundled cords look very neat inside PC case.
Cons: Tight squeeze inside an Antec mid-size case, but does fit. No printed instruction sheet, but easy to figure out - output "outlets" on power supply case are labeled.
