Question 1

I am assuming that this item consists of 2 memory modules each having 4 gigs of memory for a total of 8 gigs.  Is this correct?

No. Like the description states (2 x 2GB) it is 2 sticks of 2 gig modules for a total of 4 gigs.

It would list as 2 x 4GB if it was an 8 gig pack, which this is not.

Question 2

Looking to put this into a Shuttle SD37P2 V2--4 sticks total.

Any concerns on compatibility with this system, as this memeory did not make it to the manufacturers recommendation list.

If unknown and I try it, can I return?

A quick google has informed me that the motherboard supports ddr2 and up to 8 gigs of ram, so I believe it will work.  Please note that I didn't search particularly hard and just opened the first page I saw, so I'm not 100% sure I got the right machine.

As for your other question I would look up the newegg return policy.  I believe they're pretty lenient about returns.

What is the difference between TWIN2X4096-6400C5C (light blue) and
TWIN2X4096-64005C (purple) model. The specs seem the exact same. Will this model be compatible with the purple model if I was to use it for DUAL CHANNELING?

I think it will. To be honest I bought the light blue because that's what I already had in my desktop system. It was in there for 4 years and worked well. I put the 4Gigs of corsair in my htpc and bought 4 more 6 months ago to put total 8 in my htpc which is running Win 7 64bit. I then switched my 4 1Gig PNY sticks into my desktop running Vista 32bit. Everything is going well memory wise with both systems. I do think the purple would have worked but I didn't take the chance.

In response to your question - Yes this memory will work.  The G33 Board will only take 8 Gigs Max RAM, so as long as adding 4 more Gigs of RAM doesn't exceed that maximum, you'll be okay.

Also, make sure not to "mix and match" any existing RAM with this RAM.  That is to say this new RAM should be in slots 1 and 3 or 2 and 4, otherwise you could have issues with any existing RAM modules.

Hopefully this RAM works as well for you as it did for me.  :))

I have an AMD Athlon duel process 4400+ with two spots for memory. I've been told the motherboard will only recognize up to 4gb of ram. So, my question is will this particular product be compatible with my mother board ???? I am about to upgrade my cpu cooling fan and figure this would be a good time to upgrade my ram as well.

It depends on what kind of MOBO you have.  What's your MOBO type.  Can you GOOGLE the model#?  Please make sure it can handle 2GB per slot.

Question 10

Seeking to apply 4 sticks to a Shuttle SD72P2 V2 and need to know if there are recognized compatability issues.  This is NOT on the manufacturers recommended memory list, but V2 systems can handle DDR2 800Mhz in all 4 slots.

If unknown and I try, can I return?

Personally for something that specific I prefer to stick with manufacturer recommends. That being said, I am not sure about Newegg's RAM return policy. We've never returned anything that wasn't defective.
