Pros: Easy install, great looking board, components thoughtfully laid out. I bought this with G.Skill Ripjaws Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Desktop Memory Model F3-10666CL7D-4GBRH - Retail. Board Picked up advertised timings of 7-7-7-21 FIRST TRY! like the clear cmos button on I/O panel, wicked convenient. haven't tried sata 3 card, but its a nice extra, especially when almost every other company is reducing "extras" to save $. Instant boot is a pretty cool feature, and who cares if it takes long to setup, you're supposed to set it and walk away, not time it, what matters is that it only takes 4-8 seconds to have a working OS when you power it back up. I like the legacy connectors, even if I haven't used them, because some PPL like re-using old stuff till it breaks, lol. My last setup was Q6600 @ 3.3 Ghz, this blows my Q6600 out of the water, AT STOCK SPEEDS! but thats not to say the board isn't without faults- see below.

Cons: The asrock I.E.S. loads on startup, no matter what. and the B.I.O.S. isn't thoughtfully laid out, or maybe i'm just used to my old AMI BIOS, but almost everything is there. overclocking is way too easy on this board- for fear of overclocking too high, I returned I7-860 to default clocks, I figure it's fast enough for now, I'll overclock when i'm used to the speed. i'm sure anyone could nit-pick anything if they want, but regardless of the perceived cons, my 5 egg score still stands! ANYONE LOOKING TO DEDUCT EGGS FOR PERCEIVED FAULTS, READ OTHER POSTS, YOU MIGHT ACTUALLY SEE THE FAULT IS YOUR OWN, NOT THE BOARDS! (I.E. 32 bit os not showing more than 4 gigs of ram) anyway read reviews, might actually solve perceived problem.

Overall Review: coming from a BIOSTAR board, i'm very happy with everything! gotta love newegg, my order consisting of asrock p55-deluxe, g.skill ripjaws, Sunbeam PSU-ECO750-US-BL 750W ATX12V 2.3 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Power Supply - OEM Item #: N82E16817709021, Intel core I7-860 processor, and Acronis True Image 2009, Transcend 4 G flash drive, and artic silver- ALL ARRIVED WITHIN 24 HOURS!! GO NEWEGG!! ALSO- i'm glad board has LGA 775+1156 mounting holes, because i was able to re-use my zalman 9500 cooler. with stock HSF my idle temps were ~ 35 and load w/prime 95 was over 75, but with zalman my idle temps are ~ 27 and full load temp w/prime 95 is less than 50 degrees WOW! BUY THIS BOARD AND YOU WILL BE SATISFIED!! just make sure to research EVERYTHING you buy, especiall the cpu cooler/heatsink, and everything will go together smooth! ASROCK AND NEWEGG HAVE CUSTOMERS FOR LIFE!

Cons: CANNOT CHANGE VOLTAGES OR WHATNOT IN BIOS! CANNOT CHANGE VCORE, SURE IT LETS YOU SET IT, BUT ID DOES NOT CHANGE. bought this with x4 955, cant do squat with it, so so mad, never been so frustrated in my whole life. AND IF I WANT TO EXCHANGE IT, I WOULD HAVE TO PAY SHIPPING

Overall Review: for the guy giving it 2 eggs because it "was the cause of x amount of bad gtx 260's", READ SPECS!!! GTX 260 REQUIRES: Minimum of a 500 Watt power supply. (Minimum recommended power supply with +12 Volt current rating of 36 Amp Amps.) DOES THIS PSU FIT THE BILL? NO! come on people, do not give products bad reviews because of ignorance. not to be rude, but people will see negative reviews, from people like that, and not buy a product that is an EXCELLENT product "for its specs" ie "+3.3V@25A, +5V@25A, +12V1@24A, +12V2@24A,, -12V@0.5A, +5VSB@2.0A" doesn't seem to have the minimum 36 amps on the +12v rail. sorry for my rudeness, but don't write negative reviews because you didn't READ THE MANUAL/SPECS OF YOUR COMPONENTS! GOOD PSU!!!

Pros: everything works as advertised! I'm not overclocking, but it has all the functions and settings needed to do so. Expert reviews gave it their best buy award. good audio codec, has heatsinks where needed, cooler combo option allowing most lga-775 coolers to be used, which I took advantage of. many pro's!

Cons: only con, as others have stated, is that it is a full inch short of atx standards, leaving right side (ram slots, 24 pin connector, sata ports etc..) not held down perfectly, but anyone with a brain can minimize any potential problems by BEING CAREFUL. -1 egg, but honestly i've owned an msi 870a-g54 with same problem, just being picky.

Overall Review: if i could give the board 4 1/2 eggs, i would've. As long as nothing dramatic happens, I have absolutely NO hesitation recommending this budget board to ANYONE! Buy it, you won't be sorry, but as always RESEARCH BEFORE BUYING ANYTHING! EXCELLENT BOARD, received it in less than 24 hrs from clicking buy.

Overall Review: download the latest bios, 17.4, and flash with afudos if m-flash doesn't work for you. msi live update has NEVER found updates for any of my msi products, ran it and it said my bios and drivers were up to date, BUT THEY DEFINATELY WERE NOT UP TO DATE. i'm almost positive the board ships with 17.1, and for the reviewers saying it doesn't support AM3, i highly doubt the board would boot up if it didn't support AM3-and you put an am3 processor in it, maybe its a windows recognition problem. ANYWAY as far as i know, this board is new and there are no legitimate reviews yet, there WILL be problems, just hope a future update irons out the minute problems, cuz this IS A GREAT BOARD

Overall Review: i had problems with this board and the vcore setting not sticking, but thankks to msi for suggesting i try flashing bios with afudos instead of m-flash, safe to say everything is working as advertised and i couldn't be happier, i was really close to r.m.a.-ing this board, i'm glad i didn't.
