ZALMAN CNPS12X 120mm Long Life Bearing High Performance Triple Fan CPU Cooler
ZALMAN CNPS12X 120mm Long Life Bearing High Performance Triple Fan CPU Cooler

Pros: Most importantly: it cools my FX 8320 extremely well. Exceeded expectations for quiet noise levels. It has a very exciting look- the three large glowing fans look great from the side. (Do a goolge img search)

Cons: It's HUGE, but you should know this and do your research before you buy it. The larger size also ends up being a plus, since it helps with performance. It's not what I would call easy to install. I didn't have any problems here, but it's definitely more involved than a smaller HSF that would clip straight onto the socket. You must removed your mobo from the case since you have to access the backside to bolt on a new bracket for stability. It's not hard, it's just involved. The instructions are fine.

Overall Review: It just *barely* fit in my case, but I had no problems fitting all my components with decent cable management. I'n VERY happy with performance, looks, and noise levels. It's essentially silent.

Dead after less than one day.

Rosewill Green Series RG430-S12 430W Continuous @40°C, 80 PLUS Certified, Single 12V Rail, Active PFC "Compatible with Core i7,i5" Power Supply
Rosewill Green Series RG430-S12 430W Continuous @40°C, 80 PLUS Certified, Single 12V Rail, Active PFC "Compatible with Core i7,i5" Power Supply

Pros: Very quiet, efficient. Attractive, black finish with cable mesh for easy management.

Cons: Died after about 4 hours total usage. It literally shut down while I was still downloading some drivers in Firefox for my new system. I suspected the power supply right away, but wasn't 100% sure until I threw in a new one from Thermaltake, and it fired right up...

Overall Review: Looking into the RMA process right now.
