Works well.

TP-LINK TL-WN951N Wireless N300 Advanced PCI Adapter, 300Mbps, w/WPS Button, IEEE 802.1b/g/n, WEP/WPA/WPA2
TP-LINK TL-WN951N Wireless N300 Advanced PCI Adapter, 300Mbps, w/WPS Button, IEEE 802.1b/g/n, WEP/WPA/WPA2

Pros: Atheros 5008 chipset, supported with the linux ath_9k driver. (worked out of the box, just plug and play) Set this up as a wireless AP on Debian squeeze with hostapd and dnsmasq, and it's working well. Enough signal to fill my apartment, not sure how far it can go. Multiple channels for data transfer, and supports multiple modes at the same time. No sure what more one could expect at this price point.

Cons: Not free. Doesn't include parabolic antennas

Lacks length

OCZ OCZACSSDBRKT Solid State Drive 3.5" Adaptor Bracket
OCZ OCZACSSDBRKT Solid State Drive 3.5" Adaptor Bracket

Pros: Easy to use, once you find the instructions of the OCZ site. Solid construction.

Cons: Instructions not included. Did not work will with my cases toolless kit. Increasing length as well as width to standard hdd dimensions

Great small ssd for mSATA slots

Intel 525 Series Lincoln Crest SSDMCEAC030B301 mSATA 30GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)
Intel 525 Series Lincoln Crest SSDMCEAC030B301 mSATA 30GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)

Pros: Bought the 30GB drive to put in a very small computer (comulab fitlet A10) . The drive does not overheat in the small quarters (.72 liters) and has been reliable running Debian 7 24/7 for almost a year now in a SOHO router setup. A small queit, and so far reliable drive.

Cons: It's not magic, (rather just really advance technology)

Overall Review: I wish manufactures of these mSATA and m.2 drives would figure out a better way to label drives then with stickers. It's hard to get good contact between the hot parts of the drives and aftermarket solutions to carry heat away. And I don't want to remove the label while they are under warranty, and after the system has been sitting so long, who wants to bother?

23 liters is a lot... but

SilverStone Sugo Series SG09B Black Steel / Plastic Micro ATX Mini Tower Computer Case
SilverStone Sugo Series SG09B Black Steel / Plastic Micro ATX Mini Tower Computer Case

Pros: As stated in the manual, it's about as much as anyone has ever stuffed into a 23 liter space. Included fans are very quiet. Hard drives are held very securely. Looks nice. Includes black powered coated screws (very cool)

Cons: All of my complaints so far deal with the power supply. It's a non-standard. The part than normally faces the rear of the case faces to the cases own rights. If you have a power supply with a the-prong power plug receptacle long direction aligned with the long direction of the face it's on, and it's within 1/2-3/4 an inch of the short edge of the supply's case, then you will have to either dremel out some structural parts of the case of forgo the use of the 120mm side fan.; depending on which way you face the PSU's fan. I ended up forgoing the fan since I'm bought the case for a low-wattage system. Also there's no space to tuck unused cables coming off the power supply, unless you go ahead and pass them through to the motherboard side of things. Getting a flat IDE cable to properly pass from the drive side to the motherboard side is also a bit tricky, but I understand it shouldn't be a common issue.

Works with a bit of a Squeeze

Brother HL-2270DW Wireless Monochrome Laser Printer
Brother HL-2270DW Wireless Monochrome Laser Printer

Pros: Works fine, (debian squeeze) prints sharply and quickly Supports duplexing that lets me experiment with bookbinding. Toner widely available and not horribly expensive.

Cons: Could be cheaper. (Free would be preferable), but that goes without saying. Manual contains no Linux section, and does not prominently mention the web-based management feature, which is the easiest way to set up networking if you know what what and SSID and WPA are. (no messing with external software) and is the only way on a Linux system. Not a post-script printer Requires non-source packages (though you may modify and distribute them)

Overall Review: Default paper size is A4, if you are in the U.S., you probably want to change it to letter. The defaults on a Linux system only work if your local dhcp server (usually the router) can resolve it's own dhcp leases. Otherwise you need to assign a static address and change the URI in the cups web management interface to that address.

Yay, finally figured it out.

Logitech F310 Wired Gamepad Controller Console Like Layout 4 Switch D-Pad PC - Blue
Logitech F310 Wired Gamepad Controller Console Like Layout 4 Switch D-Pad PC - Blue

Pros: Lots of buttons, solid design. Mostly works in linux, (change to xinput mode, and use the xpad module) Very similar to and x-box controller.

Cons: Not exactly like an x-box controller. Wine doesn't pass the controls though properly, or at least I haven't figured out a way to do so. Not officially supported on linux.
