ASUS Radeon HD 6770 1GB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 Video Card EAH6770 DC/2DI/1GD5
ASUS Radeon HD 6770 1GB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 Video Card EAH6770 DC/2DI/1GD5

Pros: good price/performance ratio

Cons: correct....this card does not support crossfire.....you'll need somthing from the 68xx series and up for that

Overall Review: below is an example of a BAD review. first things first....you cant crossfire cards from 2 different generations....period....you can only crossfire card that have the same first 2 digits ie....68xx+68xx or 69xx+69xx second....one should not give a poor rating for ones own mistake....it shows quite clearly in the pics that a crossfire tab is not there....nor does it claim crossfire support in the description... this card will run any games @ medium graphic settings on monitors below 1080px1920 resolution quite smoothly...i installed this very card on my sisters lil itx machine and it handles her SIMS games fine

withholding judgement for rma.

MSI Z77IA-E53 LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Mini ITX Intel Motherboard with UEFI BIOS
MSI Z77IA-E53 LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Mini ITX Intel Motherboard with UEFI BIOS

Pros: feature rich, wifi works well/comes with 2 dif antenna, plenty of i/o, Mini-PCIe / m-SATA slot, Quality VRM heatsink,

Cons: came with boot-looping issue/did not start easily(which a bios update would not fix).. usb3 socket was missing(pins were there tho) completely died after 1 month of light usage, MSI phone tech was incompetent, he asked me how many watts my PSU was running. To which i answered "450". He then told me "that was too small, our board like more power" and went on to suggesting a 600watt PSU...(btw i did try my 1000w nzxt psu while troubleshooting, so i allready knew this was bull) If anyone is wondering i did tell him i was only running an i3 3220 and an HD 7750 with 1 ssd. (450 watts was ALREADY overkill!!!) only other cons would be the placement of the 8pin cpu power and the flimsy feel to the wifi jack....not huge dealbreakers tho imho...

Overall Review: I will write another review once the refubished board comes in...If it comes w/no startup issues i will upgrade that review to a 5egg to make an overall average of 4 for my review, conversely if this cannot be resolved i will re-review at a 1egg for an average of 2...

retraction!!!

GIGABYTE GA-Z77X-UP7 LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Extended ATX Intel Motherboard
GIGABYTE GA-Z77X-UP7 LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Extended ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: still beautiful..... still TONS of connectivity.... DOES DELIVER STABLE POWER

Cons: significantly more expensive than its competitors...... wouldnt push my mushkin redlines past 2400mhz...(both my asrock formula 0C and my brothers max5gene did with a 3570)

Overall Review: official apology....what i deemed instability by the power regulators (which i had observed when we tried to o/c with GB's UP5 as well) turned out not to be the case....after burning out in a blaze of glory(literally) i swapped in a SS 860w platinum and proceeded to hit 5100MHz on an ivy bridge i5....a personal high for that particular chip......and passed all stability tests accordingly.... so i can happily report it seems as though gigabyte DID has out its issues with the new v-regs... however....they're really only a cppl deg. cel. on average cooler than either of the other boards accessible to me

way overpriced...

GIGABYTE GA-Z77X-UP7 LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Extended ATX Intel Motherboard
GIGABYTE GA-Z77X-UP7 LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Extended ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: it looks AWSOME!!! 4x sata6g raid0 options out the wazoo

Cons: from what ive seen so far, gigabyte has not perfected their new power system....yeah it can deliver 1200w-blah,blah,blah..... of very unstable, not that great for ooooberclocking power, and not as cool (low tempwise) as they are claiming.... it was unstable on the up5, and all they did here was add more phases...

Overall Review: take my advice....ether spend your money on the tried and true champ (M5E) or save some big cash and check out ASRock's new Formula OCZ77....$240!!! (twice as nice for 65% of the price)

You get what you pay for!!!

COOLER MASTER Excalibur R4-EXBB-20PK-R0 120mm Case Fan
COOLER MASTER Excalibur R4-EXBB-20PK-R0 120mm Case Fan

Pros: And what you're paying for is the best water cooling fan on the market. High static pressure 3.7mm/h20, fairly quiet when using the PWM function to reign in the Rpm's to an acceptable level, and can be disassembled for easy maintenance.

Cons: Not in a square frame...If you're a stickler for sealing up the connections to your rads, small gaps are left when not using some type of gasket...Some type of (sticky backed) foam is what I'd recommend. Can get kinda noisy @ max rpm's.

Overall Review: If Corsair's sp120 was a PWM fan in may be in the same league, but alas....'tis not Not a purchase you will regret...

GREAT mem...will ALWAYS run@2133 if...

Mushkin Enhanced Blackline 16GB (4 x 4GB) DDR3 2133 (PC3 17000) Desktop Memory Model 994015
Mushkin Enhanced Blackline 16GB (4 x 4GB) DDR3 2133 (PC3 17000) Desktop Memory Model 994015

Pros: high performance, great overclockability, and runs fairly tight timings @ 1.5volts... if you push the volts up to 1.6+ you can tighten even further!!!

Cons: not ridgeback

Overall Review: if you can't get this mem up to 2133MHz,,, don't give a bad rating and blame the memory... not being able to hit the XMP profile would be the fault of your cpu's memory controller. Intel processors "officially support" 1333MHz... anything beyond that is an "overclock" If 1866MHz is all you can get from it,,, i apologize but you have not fared well in the "SILICON LOTTERY" you could try to push the voltage up a bit, but you'll be risking your cpu's longevity... S/B is no fan of >1.5vots
