Excellent Case-Mod Upgrade!

Case Fans
Case Fans

Pros: A quiet fan of high quality that is obvious immediately upon removing it from the packaging. The temperature in my case has dropped better than 10° F since installing this fan along with 4 Noctua NF-R8-1800 80mm fans that I purchased as well for my case. These fans replaced the dying fans in my RaidMax Smilodon case and it is far quieter than with any of the other fans I've used in it before. [Note: I am running these w/o using the included speed reducers since this is a gaming rig but still a very quiet operation.] Oh ya; Warranty: 6 years, speaks for itself. Personally, I like the color of these fans; although, I believe it would be better for Noctua to create a variety of colors since people can be quite finicky about the look of their case. If you want a quiet, cool case then look no further!

Cons: None.

Overall Review: It seems that some people like to interchange the terms 'Quiet' and 'Silent' as if the words were synonymous. There is no such thing as a 'silent fan' other than that fan which has turned OFF or has seized, simple as that. Additionally, for the few people that have an issue with the price of these fans vice other fans, its all about the quality. This is neither the typical sleeve-bearing fan nor is it a ball-bearing fan. This fan uses a self-stabilizing oil-pressure bearing in order to provide not only low noise but longevity as well. If you make the choice to purchase these fans then it is not fair to rate them down because you don't like the price afterwords. That is not a 'con' what-so-ever. They do what they were designed to do and they do it quite well. There is a very good reason why there are 'cheaper' fans available... there once was a car available named 'Yugo' but there still is a car available named 'Lamborghini'!

No problems

LevelOne GSW-0807 Gigabit Switch
LevelOne GSW-0807 Gigabit Switch

Pros: Since this isn't a managed switch, it was simply a plug-n-play device. No problem with latency, small design and it was on sale for a decent price.

Cons: None to be found thus far.

Company should be named, "1SaleShippedADay"

Sent a tracking number that was supposedly for UPS but the link on NewEgg links it to FedEx. One week later and still no package. Call both shippers and told that my address is not in the system for any deliveries at this time. Call 1SaleADay customer service only to be hung up on by their system 3 times before connecting again only to remain on hold indefinitely. I hung up this time after 20 minutes of listening to the same canned music loop without a single person speaking to me. Will most likely take them a month to return my e-mail message. This will be the last order to this company from me no matter the price! :-/
