Pros: Works on my old PC.
Cons: its not 1gb.
Overall Review: I got this for a old office computer, now it has 1gb and runs win xp well.
Win XP sp3 is still more than enough for office PCs.
Pros: cheap and effective.
Cons: Its reliable but don't expect miracles.
Pros: Good build quality for a plastic and steel case. Lots of room and plenty of spots to mount fans.
Cons: The hard drive bays are places from left to right instead of front to back. This makes the airflow worse and my HDD temps went up, by a lot. 25c before, now 45c and up to 60c during heavy use. The ventilation holes are a bit too much. Holes every where make it hard to direct air flow which makes temps inside increase. My old case had only 2 fans at the front, one on the back and another on the top. The temps in that case were in some cases (like my hdd) 50%+ cooler.
In using this case because its larger than the old one. I got my temps lower by placing more fans but the noise is now a problem.
Overall Review: I like the look of the case especially for the price. other cases that are in the same price range aren't very attractive or as well made as this one.
Its a good case but it does have some issues.
Pros: fast and stays cool, for the price. very easily overclocked to 2.7 and stays cool if you want to go higher. if you're a beginner, this apu is very forgiving.
Cons: You can over clock it but don't expect it to compete with a A6, A8.
Overall Review: I built a HT pc with this apu and it runs great. The built-in gpu is great, no slow buggy frame rates when playing multiple media. You can play games on these with decent settings but don't expect to it to keep up with graphics cards on high settings.
Pros: Not bad motherboard for the price. F1 socket and ddr3. Only 2 dimms but 16 GB capacity. Stays cool and easy to overclock. great budget motherboard.
Cons: Not much in the way of cons, all i can say is don't buy this then complain it cant keep up with other Motherboards. Its not supposed to.
Overall Review: If you're looking to upgrade to a F1 platform but don't want to spend a lot of money, look no further. these are great for a regular home pc and HT pc. I'm very satisfied with my purchase.
Pros: cant beat that price. Marked down from 30. Range is good and very easy to set up. I liked it soo much I bough 2 more.
Cons: The range is a little low. it says 400 ft but its more like 150
Pros: Runs cool, at about 23c. Room for a PCIe and up to 4 gb of ddr2 800.
Very good specs for something that cost 43 bucks.
Pros: I got these for a low budget build I was making for some one. This ram really made a difference. It made that build lightning fast. I had made the exact same build before but with different ram. With the other ram it was just normal speed, what you would expect from ddr2 800.
With these i saw much more than just a small jump in speed. It boots up insanely fast and every program runs fast and very stable. I should of bought more before the price went up.
Cons: the con is not neweggs fault, it was UPSs. It took them 5days (not including the weekend) to get it to me. On the 5th day I got it at 7pm.
Overall Review: UPS has done this for the last 5 shipments. They even have the nerve to say I was not home so they couldn't deliver. I WAS HOME!!! THEY NEVER CAME!!!
I turned over this new build 3 days late and lost money because of it.
Im going FedEx.
Pros: 19' only 100 bucks and free shipping. I remember when you could only get a 15 inch for that price, and it had horrible response time.
Cons: only vga and the stand makes the monitor point down a little.
Pros: low price, nice look, and it came the next day. I bought this for a low budget build I was making. Works great and feels like cost more than 14 bucks.
Pros: Very very cheap and comes with a poser supply. Ventilation is good.
Cons: I wish it had ventilation at the front. All it has is a small opening towards the bottom front. Most cases have holes there to allow air in and to place a fan. This case does not.
The case material feels cheap and if you're not careful you will bend it.
Overall Review: Even with lack of front ventilation my HDD stayed at 21c, my motherboard at 23c, and my CPU at 30c. The side ventilation
openings where enough i guess. Imagine how much lower the temps would get it it had front ventilation.
Pros: This think works great and its incredibly inexpensive. Feels solid and not cheap.
Pros: Real affordable. Thin SATA instead of bulky IDE. Burn real fast.
Pros: Dirt cheap, runs some what fast for a 120mm and quite.
I place it in the rear as a exhaust fan and the temps dropped by 5c.
Pros: Real cheap, has a nice texture to it and its reliable.
Pros: With this my P4 HT 3.2 runs at 22c during idle and never goes above 35c during load. Im getting insane frame rates from that old cpu.
Cons: A little thin. Other similar heat sinks are larger, but for the price I cant really complain.
Pros: I put one of these on my 8800 GT. It was running at 55c idle. During load it would reach 72c.
Now it runs at 45c idle and 52c at load. On top of all that it was 25 bucks when i got it.
Cons: The only thing I dint like was the memory heatsinks. They look good but the adhesive just sucks.
You have to really press them hard against the memory. I really hate putting pressure on my components. I feel like I might damage them. AC should really look into getting better adhesive pads.
Pros: Great replacement for a 80mm fan. The fan it self is 90mm but it fits into a 80mm. Very little noise even at full speed.
It comes with little rubber rings that reduce the noise even more.
Cons: its a little bulky and can only be used for cpu heat sinks or as a exhaust fan.
Pros: Pushes out a lot of air.
Cons: Does not run at the specs shown here. It runs a lot faster and makes a lot of noise.
Overall Review: buy a fan controller if you're gonna get this fan
Pros: I put this on a old nForce4 board I had. It was getting temps around 48c, and that was with a fan on the NB. With this thing it went down to 25c. Its never gone higher then 35c.
25c is the average temp now, fan less! reduced temps and noise. I'm really impressed
Cons: I wish they came in pairs.
Overall Review: Very very cheap but they don't feel cheap. Quality product.
Pros: 1066 ddr2, PCIe, Most AM2 will fit, and stay relatively cool. Its never gone over 32 even on hot days.
Cons: this board is good but..... you will not find any really useful information inside the box or at the XFX website. On some things they seem to have thrown logic out the window. For example the 2nd PCIe you see on the board is the actually the primary.
The only way to really get tech support is to leave a e-mail to XFX. If you don't e-mail them or if you are not tech savy this board will probably frustrate you and you wont get a post. From reading the other reviews this seems to be the case.
Overall Review: XFX should include a real manual in the box and a very detailed manual on their site. This will solve a lot of problems. No real manual? I feel like they neglected the consumer a bit.
Pros: Very cheap and the free shipping was great.
Uses a sata cable instead of the IDE. Makes things look a lot neater and helps air move around easier
Overall Review: sort of quite, very quite compared to others I had before.
Pros: 5ms,22' and 2500:1 cr
Cons: dint have speakers.
Overall Review: Independent speakers are better anyway
Pros: Very cheap, very small and runs media and some games well.
Cons: This thing runs a little hot so I put a small fan on there. I think the designers of this card wanted a fan on it because right on the board is a spot to connect a fan.
I connected one to it and the temps drooped by A LOT. I was getting 60c-70c not its like 35c-45c.
Overall Review: Other reviewers said they played games with this card, which you can sort of do, but this thing was made more for media and stuff along those lines.
This thing was made to upgrade from integrated graphics/ the stock junk you get with store bought PC's
If you do decide to run games on this don't expect miracles but do expect overheating.
Pros: room for four 120's and one 140. Already comes with a Rear 120 and a 140 on the top. Very easy to open and install stuff.
Cons: paint comes off easy.
